Oh man I felt that pregnancy one in my soul. I'm lucky my parents were always supportive of me but I KNOW they probably felt that way when I got pregnant with my 3rd baby. I'm the oldest of 5. From 11yo to 19yo I was very much "Mom." I was the bandaid for my mother's postpartum depression and in her insane words the redemption of her childhood s**ual abuse and DIY best friend. My parents are dull-witted, lazy people. No, I don't know what it's like to earn the checks for a family of 6. I don't know how to raise 5 children. I rarely felt the impact of those checks and instead of 5 of my own kids I raised 3 of my siblings. I wish I was hyping up the work I did, maybe then I wouldn't need to stay in therapy for the rest of my life and my entire body wouldn't constantly hurt.
My ONLY reservation here is that I believe the level of disgust on that woman's face implies she might be the real bitch. It's not uncommon for grandparents to be presumptive and nasty because their kids aren't doing childrearing the way they would have. A loving grandmother seems more likely to say less. Oh man I felt that pregnancy one in my soul. I'm lucky my parents were always supportive of me but I KNOW they probably felt that way when I got pregnant with my 3rd baby. Especially since I had gotten my tubes tied a few years prior and thought I wasn't able to get pregnant anymore. Imagine my total and utter shock when I found out I somehow was.. Omg I don't think I've ever cried so much. I waited probably two months before I even told my parents because I honestly thought they wouldn't be happy about it. Me and my husband had just moved out on our own again and with two kids already, life was pretty hectic. Thankfully my parents were super chill about it and offered to help anyway they could 😊 now _hopefully_ there won't be anymore surprises since I got my tubes tied *AGAIN* after that pregnancy lmao

For the cake one, the cake was most likely so small because it was solely for the cake cutting part of the wedding and they most likely had another dessert for the guests. It’s more common now so the bride and groom aren’t stuck with half of a 4 tier cake to deal with that doesn’t even taste that good lol.
