Good to see original content from you guys, and you hit the nail on the head a few times, but... Megatron's his-own-movie storyboard was WAY too drawn out over this vid and ruined the pacing.
Megatron is to Optimus as Joker is to Batman. Yeah, I think Megatron deserves further development.

Actually, Megatron is even MORE essential to optimus Prime as he's pretty much hos only rival, and is the reason Prime exists at all.

Megaton ‘s right in every way...WE NEED A MEGATRON MOVIE
We definitely need a story from the decepticons point of view I think a movie about sounwave, shockwave and starscream working to get the decepticons to earth and ending it all with them all chanting all hail Megatron as we see him in the new movies for the first time
You know, a Megatron movie wouldn't be so bad. Like, what if they did a prequel where it shows the rise of Megatron?
Like a story of how a gladiator named Megatron and a clerk named Orion Pax became friends and then enemies...
I would love to see his whole arc while he was a gladiator and his jealousy of Orion’s success developing into the decepticon movement. Also allows more of the political side of pre-war cybertron to be developed
As a matter of fact, a prequel movie showing the start of the Autobot/Decepticon war is in the works! The working title is Transformers One. Chris Hemsworth is voicing Optimus.

This is a perfect description of how an *actual* villain protagonist story would go. Most ones we get just turn the villain into an anti-hero, or just redeem them.

Actually a Megatron Spin-Off movie wouldn't be so bad, we could finally see his relationship with Optimus and his evolution to become his nemesis. TAKE NOTE PARAMOUNT!!!

There's a new animated Transformers film that is in production about the origins of Optimus/Orion Pax relationship with Megatron before the war began. Chris Hemsworth will be playing Orion Pax. And it makes sense since Orion is supposed to be a young, inexperienced bot that doesn't have the leadership qualities Optimus has.
Thirding this - full CGI movie set on Cybertron due out next year.

The guy who voiced Optimus did an amazing job doing it! It sounded similar to Peter Cullen's Optimus voice, just slightly high pitched.

To add on to this. Chris Hemsworth will be playing Optimus Prime/Orion Pax in that film. Before anyone gets upset, the film is set on the relationship between Orion Pax and Megatron just before the Great War. So it makes perfect sense Peter Cullen wouldn't be voicing the leader role we love. Though I am fairly certain we will hear Peter Cullen narrating the introduction or have a final scene

@@dromankass8655 No, no, no, that would not work, because they aren't normal machines, they are mechanical life forms and would want the comforts of home, so a cafe would be better as they would be slipping Energon and talking that way, similar to the Super hero cafe, only MUCH bigger

I’d love a movie based on Megatron if it was inspired by the comics, giving a backstory and actual development to him, going from a miner to an idealistic gladiator to a warlord, it could also be used to show how the war started and how Prime became in charge of the Autobots.
I don't know if I still have it, but I vaguely remember a Megatron origin story in one of the Transformers annuals from the 80s that my brother and I had. I think in that story Megatron was a gladiator back on Cybertron before he joined or founded the Decepticons and the whole war thing happened... I have this image in my head of a moment of comparison between him being cheered by the crowds in the arena and by his comrades on the battlefield
@@ZoeMalDoran That be the Marvel run on Transformers back in the day, thou the real origins story in a sense is told by IDW where they gave him a mini series that was the focus on his origins and how he became the leader of the Decepticons and took control of a single city or at least part of it and "Killed" Sentinal Prime
@@ZoeMalDoran yeah, his original origin was he was a gladiator, and later down the line it changed to he was a miner who became a gladiator and began to preach his ideals, gaining followers of all types, like a certain air commander, a certain communications officer, a senator named Shockwave, and even getting the attention of a bot named Orion Pax

A new animated movie titled Transformers One was announced a while ago. It will be set on a pre-war Cybertron and tell the story of Orion and Megatron’s friendship and I’m assuming their eventual falling out. It was confirmed that Chris Hemsworth will be voicing Orion/Optimus and Scarlet Johansson will be voicing Elita-One

I always forget the Transformers actually originally had very clear, unique, readable designs.

Megatron and Starscream had a dynamic that made the villains fun to watch in the cartoon. That dynamic was missing in the live-action movies.

This version of Megatron reminds me of Prime, Cyberverse and his performance rocked. Optimus's acting was pretty awesome, too. You rock, guys. I loved all the little references to the older Transformers titles.

I love the reference to Spike (Sparkplug's son) from the original TV show.
Thankfully it seems like Hollywood listened as Transformers One is coming out in September and it's basically an origin story of Optimus and Megatron.
Transformers Prime's Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave were the best we ever got.
Considering it was made according to the primary audience ranging between 7-8 year old kids to 13-15 year old young teens.
If they make a movie for adults, I can tell it's going to be super successful.
To be fair, after I watched megatron in that combiner wars series I think that there is a huge room for a megatron movie. Watching him and prime fighting together was awesome.

Negation actually has a pretty solid back story that could work as a movie,
He was originally a gladiator who hated the cybertronian class system which locks them into specific jobs based on what they transform into.
It might be a bad way to explain it, but All in all, it’s an interesting story that led to him becoming what we know him as
