      Thank you! And I’ll consider the acoustic stuff for sure. As someone who watches acoustic videos, what are you looking for that would be most helpful to you?

    Love the tones. Just trying to learn the song, it was a little hard to pick up that second guitar and distinguish with the lush, stereo, dripping tones

    • @thetoneshepherd
      @thetoneshepherd  7 дней назад

      Yeah, I totally get that...it's the struggle between making two separate videos for each part or stacking them like this...I'm still deciding what my preferred method is.

    Thank you for the video, if you dont mind, i have a hard time hearing the bottom guitar

      @thetoneshepherd  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah sorry about that! Maybe use headphones? I maaaay have panned them slightly. But I’ve moved to making separate videos for Rhythm and Lead parts for this reason. Thanks for bearing with this one.

    The secret preamp! Such an underrated pedal. How are you using yours?

    • @thetoneshepherd
      @thetoneshepherd  Год назад +1

      I use mine after all my overdrives and set it so it’s barely noticeable. I’m not using it to increase or decrease level at all, but just add a little something “extra” to the tone. I use the Mid mode on mine for most guitars. But I feel that it just makes my overdrives sound more interesting. It’s a very subtle effect, but I dig it.

    Why do you still have plastic on the pickups of the JM?

    • @thetoneshepherd
      @thetoneshepherd  11 месяцев назад

      I also still have the plastic on the screen of my original 10+ year old Strymon Timeline 😂. Sometimes I just can’t bring myself to take it off. But I did end up taking it off of these pickups. 🤙🏼

    How would I play this in the key of A

    • @thetoneshepherd
      @thetoneshepherd  4 месяца назад +1

      You would move everything up 2 frets and put a capo on the 2nd fret.
