Played this yesterday. Appreciate this version more than the rest... covers the areas using a single guitar without over complicating all the ultra-subtle nuance verby things which probably don't add anything to the song anyway : )
Awesome walk trough!! Thanks a lot mate! I’ve been having a hard time dialling Strymon’s wet effects… it’s awesome to see your configurations! You sound really good!
Thanks! You just reminded that this part is even in the song. I’ve been playing this song in church for a while now and have been forgetting to play it… 🤣
So, is this music from the actual track played by one of the studio guitarists or is it your interpretation of how it should be played; your interpretation of how to play combined parts?
I like your version of tutorial. It sounds more correct but I need more explanation or tabs. It’s hard to tell exactly what frets and strings you are fretting. I’m not exact a complete amateur but everyone’s fingering is different. You can’t show how you play it and not explain what your fretting is. Please add explanations or better yet tabs from now on. Having said that, this did help. I just had to spend some time figuring out your fingering.
@@jkdniel I use this channel to resource guitarists at my church who are trained to use their ear to pick out these parts in the video. They are not intended to be long training videos, just a play-through that notes the effects used and an occasional slowed down section that might be too fast to pick out
Check out some videos on the caged method, once you learn that you can look at the chord chart find the root note and the higher voicings will come naturally
@@wwinford How can one build guitar patches using a pedal board. I can do it perfectly well on a multi effect pedal . I want to start building my first pedal board. Asking from a beginner's perspective.
God bless you, brother, Wesley. Thank you so much for teaching me. I praise God for this wonderful song. God bless Phil.

Thanks for this
My school asked me to play it for weekly chapel, you kinda saved me😊

I wish my church would play these songs in their original key they always have to go way up and makes them tough to transpose
I feel your pain 🤣 it happens at my church too
Thank you for this.
Amazing
Wow

These parts are from the studio guitar tracks. There’s quite a bit of them in this song so I combined the most heard ones for this video
Do you do requests? And I’ve missed you posting.
I just mainly post songs that my church does to resource guitarists for our campuses
hey quick question - what is the Dimension thing you're using for chorus sounds? is that a plugin or a pedal?
It’s a chorus effect on my HX stomp. But it’s on all line 6 units
@@wwinford ah thank you!
May seem like a dumb question but I’m pretty new… do you have any tabs for this?
I don’t
