Mass Effect 2 is an action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Microsoft Game Studios and Electronic Arts. As a sentinel, you should always be activiting your shields and reactivating them when they go down.

The jump in quality between ME1 and ME2 was pretty significant. Originally I only played ME3 and accidently skipped all side quest (because I had no idea "priority" missions should not be your priority lol). I knew nothing about the universe but I still loved it. But I went back and played all of those games when Legendary Edition dropped.
ME1 had a great story, it felt like a good movie or a good book.
ME2 was probably my favorite. While ME1 felt more like Star Trek, ME2 felt more like Star Wars. That dirty, lived in universe vibe.
ME3 had the best companion stories and great sense of humor.
Remember to activate Tech Armour before every encounter so your not sitting through the cooldown mid fighting. So when your shields go down you can reactivate Tech Armour again to recover your shields.
On mission objectives you are always able to retry a hack, just not on the ones for for credits, etc. TIM voice actor is Martin Sheen, also Tricia Helfer voices EDI, she also played Number 6 in the Battlestar Galactica tv series.

Like before, do what you want and we'll only give advice when you directly ask us! We're with you in this ride!
(My only suggestion is to do everything you want to do before launching a mission called Reaper IFF, that one will start and lock you in the endgame. Besides that, you're golden and free to choose your path!)
And remember: Top right is Paragon dialogue, bottom right is Renegade. And always investigate first, and continue the left options that open from investigate. Just like the first game.
1:15:28 Dude, you could've chosen the top left option. You got the data for Tali in ME 1, and that would immediately prove you're You to her and the Quarians.
In case of doubt, never go with the middle right option unless out of options.

I hope the negative comments about ME3 don't stop you from enjoying the last game. It's still a really good game and it always makes me kinda sad that all people can talk about is the ending, ignoring the great ~40 hours of gameplay before that
Yea, ME3 is a great game, some people are just haters. And while it did have some weaknesses, I enjoy ME Andromeda quite a bit as well, play it at least once a year

At some point you absolutely should play through the series again with fem Shep, probably my favorite voice acting in a game ever, she did an amazing job.

The good part of not being able to watch most videos on release day is that I can put off the frown face from The Witcher's ending and be happy to watch the playthrough of another favorite!
So glad we're back to Mass Effect! By far my favorite game series, I try to play through all 4 of them at least once a year.
The mini game is easy once you know how to do it. Hover over the nodes before clicking on them. They have matching symbols on them.
It happens I think in the next episode, I think but it does click finally LOL it's crazy easy and actually quite fun. Both of them! Though that happens like halfway into the video, so you'll still hear me complain a bit before I realize how dumb I was being LOL

sorry for the second comment, but this moment, meeting Joker and reveal of new Normandy... that was absolutely incredible moment. It was a time when games stood for something more than just microtransactions
Also... don't forget to check with Joker and EDI once in a while, they have some of the best jokes and jabs as each other that are easy to miss

If you find the large pop-up UI messages too annoying, there is a mod that will reduce the size. It's called Smaller Notifications. It's purely cosmetic, so it won't affect gameplay or difficulty.

Regarding those safe mini games, if you hover over the blue dots you will see the shape you need to match.
Later you’ll get some helmets that are visors that are small and you can see your face still. I always use those.

Mass effect 2 is my favorite mass effect. I don't love it as much as Dragon age origins or Witcher games but it is damn great. Right now I am replaying Witcher 3 and Mass Effect 2. they are awesome. Also another bioware game you should check in the future is Jade empire.

Mass effect 1-3 use the Omni-button, my understanding is it was because the game was developed for console first. Personally I think it might be beneficial for you to swap back to spacebar for Use/Cover/Sprint… you’re right the sprinting is very limited after all. Spacebar is going to be a lot easier to hit for all the times you will be needing it. Not sure if there is a mod that separates out sprint. I doubt it tho. Whenever I play any of the trilogy games I need some time to adjust because of these weird keybinds.

With all the people that say two is the best.. I think a lot of people got stuck on how they felt about the base game of ME3 back in the day. It felt a bit rushed in parts. But ME3 in it's final form is epic. Don't get UNDER-hyped on ME3.
You should try star wars knights of the old Republic, it also has system like paragon and renegade, in light side or dark side
I want to so badly. I remember watching my brother play it when I was young. I tried it years back but it was so hard and kinda broken to play on PC. But it's constantly staring at me from my Steam library like the freakin' Green Goblin mask 💀🙏🏾

I always thought Maleshep sounds monotone. He mostly sounds like he's just reading his lines, rather than voicing them. Femshep voice is more lively and engaging imo.
Maybe in ME1, but definitely not in ME2 and 3. So i disagree.
Male Shep has alot of Ups in ME2 and 3, sounding a lot more invested in his lines, especially in a certain DLC...
I understand your point, but I personally love Mark Meer's acting as Shepard, and was invested, both in him as a character and as him when playing him. I say both him and Jennifer Hale did a top-notch job as Shepard equally, but each with their own qualities.
Totally agree. Male Shepard was dry throughout the series.
Jennifer Hales VA is more charismatic. Mark gets better at 3, but Jen is more captivating in the role.

Do not forget to use the trilogy save editor to fix the Conrad bug.
a bug that they failed to patch out, so when you meet Conrad he will always say you choose renegade option on him in ME 1, even if you did not.
Very easy to use, just find your ME 2 file, then c lick the Plot tab, then Mass Effect 1 tab, then Missions tab, then Citadel, then untick [The Fan] Go away and make sure [The Fan] Met Conrad Verner and [The Fan] Convinced him is ticked.....if you did that, then just save the file and load in game, done, easy
oh yeah, head up, there is 3 DLC's to play, 2 before the no point of no return, and one after you finish the game, the 2 DLCs to do before the point of no return is "Lair of the Shadow Broker" and "Project Overlord", and the DLC to do after you beat the game is called "Arrivals", so I do hope you do get to them when ever you feel is appropriate.
I'm honestly sick of seeing vanguard. Over 80% of people I've seen play it. It's ruined it for me since it's over saturated in walkthroughs. I'm very glad you didn't pick it

@ElizabethCooper-xl8wd this was my biggest worry. I 100000% get that it gets old seeing these diff creators all play the same class, but at the same time when said creator has never played the game before, they have no idea what decisions or play styles are popular. So they wanna have fun their own way, they also have to consider what may be most enjoyable or refreshing for viewers. It's a crazy hard balance and you can visibly see this internal dilemma on my face multiple times in this video. I appreciate you understanding. I can't promise I won't pick things people dislike but I'll do my best to still make each video fun to watch for you all.

@@ElizabethCooper-xl8wdThis is exactly why Oxhorn’s play through is unwatchable to me. His chat tells him every single choice that they want him to make so it’s not even really HIS play through. It’s a bit frustrating to watch. A blind play through should be the actual player’s choices, not chat who has played the game before
When we're 3 episodes behind on the Patreon, there's not really an incentive for me to point out something, give you recommendations or hints, because you're already so far ahead, so I'll probably refrain from commenting. For ME1 I had the feeling you already took notice of the things I pointed out in the next video or the one after that, but with 3 videos behind, you either have figured it out yourself, the people on the Patreon commented on it, or it's so long ago that it doesn't really matter anymore.
you'd think that but some of the advice ive been given on the first 2 RUclips versions of episodes 1 and 2 i just flat out didnt get on patreon. So theres always a reason to give advice. Even if its not advice, some of the fun facts ive been told or alternate decisions you guys made in your own playthroughs, its all fun to read!

@@KingdomAce it's one of Blizzard's best games from 2010-2016 era (talking about Sc2), an RTS game with 3 distinct races. The lore is insane and some cinematics are epic. SC2 is the reason we have competitive e-sports ^^

Vanguard in Mass Effect 3 is way better because the updated biotic combo mechanics so if you are doing Vanguard ME3 is the game to do it imo
I love playing as renegade in mass effect games. In my opinion renegade is way more fun than paragon.
After 4 episodes I've recorded, renegade 10000% seems fun to roll with. This def ain't the game to go full paragon imo 😅
@@KingdomAce Many of us, including myself, find the Paragon choices more satisfying and fully-fledged from a story and character standpoint, but going 100% without deviations can actually hinder your experience depending on your wants, and Renegade can actually be really funny. Heck, some things can only happen in your favor or in favor of your allies if you go for a Renegade option, especially the interrupts in 2, same goes for Paragon interrupts.
Overall, the community agrees that "Paragade"(A blend of both morality options) is the best way to experience Mass Effect.
Especially in ME2

13:40 yeah if you had to choose a different class, id recommend Vanguard, let me tell you, in ME3, Vangaurd is on some drugs, its that good, you someone to be feared in the battlefield, its like your a Biotoic Krogan!, but Vanguard is a combo of Solider and Adept, meanwhile Sentinel is a combo of Adept and Engineer.

50:43 yeah so when it comes to your armor, and armor you buy, id recommend to choose ones related to Powers/abilities, for best results. BUT I would wear a helmet, it comes off in Conversations (most of the time), I think, there is probably a setting for that if not.

It's my first time, give me time to get used to it being in my arsenal. By the time I posted this video, I'm 4 episodes in and use it much more often.
