  • Divi’s Theme Builder and the built-in design options have opened a ton of new doors. More than ever before, you’re now able to customize every single page your customers land on.
This includes setting up a 404 page. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a beautiful 404 page template and have it apply to your website right away. We’ll only use Divi’s built-in options and you’ll be able to download the template JSON file for free as well.
We hope this tutorial inspires to get creative with your next 404 page design.

Hi there Mak, I watched and followed the video How to Create a Custom 404 Page - Divi theme builder but couldn't get it to work. Then I watched this vid to see if it was clearer and I realised that I had not saved the template in the theme builder. Many thanks for your videos.

    Great tutorial.
I have a question. How you manage to have 2 different 404 pages if your site is in 2 languages?
Or do you add some JS code to check the lang in the URL and if Spanish shows x text otherwise shows text.

Hello and thank you for all your videos, you really do a great job. I'm wondering a lot about site speed and I notice that you use many different fonts in your videos.
I'm maybe wrong, but when I analyse pages with many fonts I always notice that it add many request and of course it slow down the site.
That's why I'm wondering if it's a good practice to use only 1 font as possible and not activate Google Fonts in Divi admin page for performance speed raisons

Hi Mak, thanks for another great tutorial. I’m confused though. Is there a reason that you created the two buttons using background and text module settings rather than using the button module?

I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking he wanted a little more design control than the button module would afford him. I used the button module. :)

So is it safe to say that we don't need to add page-template-anything.php to our child themes anymore? I added one and it's not showing

Thanks for this video, but it could have been only one-minute long. 13 minutes to explain how to create a 404 page is a little excessive. Maybe split the tutorial up into two. First video how to create a 404 page (1min) and then the second video how to design a page (the other 12min). These Divi videos are good but all of them are on the long side. As a professional looking to solve a problem, I find the videos need to be much shorter. Thanks anyway :)
