"You don't know my Child" Poem for Bubbles of Love Day (International Parental Alienation Awareness)

This poem written from the heart by an Alienated Mother and is read emotionally by an Alienated Grandmother is being used to launch Ireland's Bubbles of Love Day (International Parental Alienation Awareness Day)
Irish Parents group ALIENATED CHILDREN FIRST (alienated.ie) mark International Parental Alienation Day (25th April - also known as Bubbles of Love day) with this video that includes heartbreaking poem called “ You don’t know my Child”, this poem written and performed by alienated parents will be launched to mark 2 events and 5 activities to participate in on the day, in remembrance of the thousands of alienated children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loved ones in Ireland and millions throughout the world suffering silently from this abuse.
BACKGROUND
Parental Alienation has been described by Minister of Justice Helen McEntee as where “one parent is wrongfully influencing their child or children against the other parent, thereby creating unfair and unwarranted alienation that can be destructive and life lasting.” 97% of Irish Councils have passed motions to recogniise and address parental alienation. The International research has been undertaken for the Irish Government and they are to imminently to report on and publicly consult on Parental Alienation.
THE POEM
The poem to music is written by an alienated Mother and performed by an alienated grandmother. The grandmother’s voice enunciates and describes the unbearable magnitude of emotion, pain and heartbreak experienced by thousands of children, parents, grandparents suffering needlessly throughout Ireland.
The poem will premiere on RUclips on Easter Monday at 12 noon. It embodies and symbolises the hope and rebirth of Spring and Easter. For a preview to the video poem before public launch please contact [e-mail].

ACTIVIITES
The video also outlines activities to mark this special day, activities that can be undertaken privately or publicly by blowing bubbles in memory of alienated children. Recording or photographing the event so that it can also be shared on social media, radio, TV and to your local public representatives and Oireachtas members.
WEBINAR
Since May 2021 Alienated Children First have run 8 successful webinars with a who’s who of internationally recognised experts on Parental Alienation including Dr William Bernet, Dr Craig Childress, Dr Jennifer Harman, Karen Woodall, Dorcy Pruter, retired Judge Philip Marcus and Irish TV presenter, author and psychotherapist Richard Hogan. On the 25th April at 6pm ACF will be hosting a webinar with history making parental alienation and Human Rights campaigner Erin Pizzey. Erin is founder of the first ever domestic abuse shelter and who also helped set up the first shelter in Ireland (for children, women and men).
COPING WITH PARENTAL ALIENATION VIDEO
After this webinar at 8pm ACF will be premiering another video on RUclips called “Coping with Parental Alienation” written by Aoife Griffin, a well known Irish therapist who has helped many alienated parents over the years. It will be expertly narrated by Jan, an alienated mother.

The descent into alienation, left me numb and raw
The rug pulled from under me, the crazy lies about me now told by the score
My children stolen and their minds warped, a nightmare started to unfold
I told my kids I loved them, but they looked at me now so cold
The words they said to me were so unkind,
I could hear your voice within them, as clear as day I was not blind
The pain, shock and grief, overwhelmed me completely for a time
I did my best to fight for them, but uphill it was such an impossible climb
If I gained a little foothold in their affection, I was always pushed back with force
I'm sure you wanted me dead...to not exist of course
No matter how I tried to do the right thing
I was always side swiped harder
More lies, belittling, sabotage over any most trivial thing
Character assassination was your game, a smear campaign you ran
It seems for me to exist as mother..you'd placed a total ban
I've stood in the dark recesses of my soul,
Fires of despair, but far from being broken these have forged me whole,
In a strange twist of fate, your cruelty has served a purpose, an irony of sorts
You have helped me find myself and make sense of my thoughts
My reality is real, the light of truth shines bright inside
My true self now rises with pride
A stronger new version of me have I met
Doormat no more as boundaries I get
Resilient and brave,
Rising above your delusional charade
On borrowed time you live, embrace it while you can
Your malicious sham
Watch out for the new born warrior here
For soon all your web of lies, deceit and fear
The truth about you will in plain sight...be clear
I know who you are
I know what you've done
And soon...everyone else will know
You've taught your children to....
Bully
Name call
Belittle
Lie
Spy
Steal
Be abusive
Assault a mother
Be disrespectful
To be hurtful
To be judgemental
To distort the truth
Blame
Ridicule
And best of all you've taught your children
To psychologically repress a part of themselves
To psychologically kill and deny a loving parent
What does that say about you as a parent?
What does this say about you as a person?
This says so much more about YOU than it does ME
So in the final judgement
So shall you be judged
