I do that too! And if I'm in WalMart and one of the phones on a pole rings, I will sometimes answer it and some stranger will ask me if "we" have a certain item and I'll go off looking for it and will come back and tell them that yes, we have 4 of them and they're $24.99 each. LOL

Yeah I'm OCD when it comes to any thrift store when there's something like a canister or glassware set that's not together I have to put them together. Yesterday I put a clear glass cheese dome back with its plate that they had separate.

If the leather is intact, that sofa will be pretty when you're done. I use Stahldur leather balm on our leather chairs

I have a leather sofa and love seat and I should probably get some of the salve you were speaking of. I know a girl who painted her leather sofa. I don't remember what kind of paint she used, but it seems like she painted it a denim color and it was beautiful! I hate leather though, as it sticks to your legs, but I could always sell the set and get something else. It's vintage from the early 80's and while I was grateful to have a sofa and love seat, I haven't enjoyed having my legs stick to the leather.
Your mom is so cute. She is always smiling. You look sooooo much like her.
Leather is durable, and if it's not ripped, leather cleaner and conditioner will help greatly. I have a leather couch about 10 years now and all I do is dust it!! The color is cool, and I think you will get a good price after cleaning it up.

Paint the leather with Fusion Mineral paint, I painted mine and they are Beautiful!! I put the salve over it. I have also put salve on my white leather couch. Works great! I’ll have to send you pictures of my leather couch. It was in bad shape. I sanded and filled all the crevices and it looks brand new, We LOVE it!

I am excited to see what you do with the green couch. I had a loveseat and chair EXACTLY THE SAME color and style...emerald green. It was dad's purchased in the eighties, made in Italy and 100% leather. I just sold on Marketplace this summer. The quality was so amazing and super comfortable. 😂

Yeah I hate how all the glassware in Goodwill is like $1.99 now. It's like come on just $0.99 is good enough, you'll have it there forever. What sucks is the nearest will I have doesn't do the color half off deal anymore we only got the 20% off coupon for donations which is BS.

Maybe choose pieces whose finish is marked and damaged, not ones that are beautiful to start.
In my opinion goodwill is not what it used to, they are way to expensive these days.
