Sometimes I ask myself what is Portugal doing here, what is Portugal, year after year, doing in a contest like this. Most of people with a cellphone just want fireworks. But this is so good... And so underrated at the same time. Right now the odds put Portugal in the bottom. Wtf, I just want to scream!
For me as a 🇵🇹, the most important thing, qualifying or not, is her giving 100% on that stage. If she does that, we 🇵🇹 will feel very proud. Qualifications/Winning the contest it's not in our hands (individually), Eurovision it's just one moment (for most of them), what you do after the contest, can be the make or break, and for her now for the next 2 years, she will be on the radar, and focus 100% on singing/perfoming.

Even though we are outsiders in this edition of Eurovision (being in the last places by the bookmakers), I recognize that it is one of the best performances we have ever had. I feel completely represented in the sound, the feeling and the truth that this music conveys. The performance in the final of the Festival da Canção was incredible. This acoustic version in the National Pantheon is divine. The silences, the echoes, the variations of the guitars and the choirs are impeccable. It will not be a moral victory. Even in the undeserved position they put us in, we are EMOTION and REALITY. CONGRATULATIONS
