You guys have a decent channel. Watching you guys waste $1000s of dollars is a good reality Check for 90% of the people that watch and spend money on boxes of cards thinking they're going to hit a $5000 card.
Here is some actual good advice on The Nationals. First, don't use just Ebay to price your shit. but if we are talking strictly Ebay. Don't look up the sales prices on just the specific card you're selling or looking to buy, look up other cards in the set as well. For example, if I have a Panini Prizm Paolo Banchero Blue Prizm to /199, I'm going to see what the silver is selling for too. As well as the Red Prizm to /299. If my Blue Prizm is on average going for 90, but the Red Prizm is averaging 120. Then I know those Blue Paolo's were undervalued. Since my Blue Prizm is both a team color match and lower numbered, I'm going to value it higher than the Red Prizm and completely ignore the comps on the Blue Prizm because they're just wrong. Cards are undervalued all the time on Ebay, Mercari, COMC, etc. And Second, some people just don't want to haggle. They set the price they want and don't want to negotiate it. That's their right, don't cry about it, don't bitch about it, don't go on RUclips and complain about it just because you really want what they have. Just move on to the next table. I know a few people that have been going since 2000 and they just stopped going after the pandemic boom of card flippers. They got tired of so many people crying about the prices and trying to haggle. I personally think it's not good for the hobby. You've got these people that believe ebay sales comps for the previous 3 months is the word of the lord and that is what the card is worth and if it's being sold for more than that, then the seller is a scammer. That's just not true, Ebay sales can and do undervalue a card. We all need to get away from using the Dollar Store of places to buy cards as the standard to compare prices. Ebay is a fine starting point, but should not be the stopping point of pricing.
I agree with most of what you said. One thing I will add though is that even if you think an eBay comp is underpriced, if there's another one up on eBay that you can buy for the same price, then it is what it is. Afterall, that buyer can just hop online and buy it. If the seller doesn't want to budge, that's their choice that they were entitled to, like you said. But if they want to move some cards when copies are available for less, they may need to be more flexible. Of course, if you truly believe in that player/card, you could always buy up the available "cheap" copies and then set your own price 😂
The feel good product. With all those nunbered cards with rcs or good vets you will walk away with some half decent cards and not a dirty feeling like you normally do with other Hobby products...
Well Said! So when you roll up, on those expensive card cases , and your looking to make a deal! Just find the Loot Box fellas! And strike that deal!! 😂
Are you spending more than $1K in table costs, costs to ship full inventory or fly or drive? THAT is why most want premium prices. By the same token, yes some should learn that dead money is dead money and it is best sometimes to take the L and move along.... with graded cards people are more reluctant to do so. This is where I live but even then I recognize the difficulty in making money in this current environment. Locals are spoiled by relatively cheap cards vs the coasts and a reasonable amount of shows in the tri-state area. So some of the more expensive stuff is basically museum pieces unless you negotiate with another dealer
I grabbed a box and hit all kinds of numbered cards and got a nice Gold Jalen Suggs auto, a purple /49 Dell Curry auto, Matherun /49 a Dyson purple, Nemhard /99 Giannis /150 Ja /99, hardy RC /99, 2 Palo's /150 a joker /150 tons of other RC this stuff is loaded
LootBox to the moon. I just watched an insane pokeRev video, and he opened all types of packs. The reason why I brought that up is because that's where I first found out about you guys. Was either him or TT a game in right, which was it? But I'm not making it to the National this year's guys I hope you guys had a great time I can't wait to see the videos. I might join in a breaker two.
The unwillingness to move cards at losses is just going to hurt the hobby, lots of people joined during peak and now that prices are really leveling out, people are being douches about it and don’t want to accept their losses. I hope a ton of these dealers just accept their losses and use it as a write off
The creative design team at panini are useless....the only way you can tell the difference between the last few years sets from chronicles is the year printed on the back.

I mean it’s simply just not taught in school anymore. That’s it
You gotta think these rookies are signing so many cards. Those old vets not so much. Imagine how many cards Paolo signed?! I’d be signing PB too
