And that's why it was a surprise to everyone with his unannounced exit in the middle of the season !!! ...all the cars were loaded and headed for home........even the Rich kids get put on Restriction ....lol

anyone curious. a 24-71 blower was used for Detroit diesels that needed them cause they couldn't breathe on their own . 71 is the number of cubic inches in each cylinder and 24 is the number of cylinders the motor the blower was made for had. as you can tell that's huge blower for a huge motor. they had 6, 8, 12, 24 if I remember correctly when the hotrodders used them they customized them for more boost and slammed them on v8 gas motors for monster power all the way through the gears
