A funny thing just happened to me. In the room where you kill the guy with the ebony bow, there is a chest, and I got an ebony bow in that chest.

But it is guaranteed 100% if you follow his instructions as he recommended saving at a certain spot in case you don't find the weapons so you can try again. I don't see what's the problem, I thought it was a great guide for beginners!

Its like saying by buying a lottery ticket you're guaranteed to win the lottery.
Reloading saves to try again is like buying multiple lottery tickets.
In the original elder scrolls game, Arena, with a "save game" and reboot strategy, an ebony katana was one of the drops from a low level monster in the opening dungeon. Also, in the opening dungeon, with multiple "save game and reboot" attempts, a player could emerge from the original dungeon with several ebony pieces of armor and one or two ebony weapons. Your video reminded me of that fun little fact.
I actually got into archery because of skyrim and it has made me the happiest I have ever been. Also this game basically saved me from suicide I had very severe OCD back then and roaming thru the valleys and prairies just gave me a sense of freedom I wasn´t able to experience otherwise.

hey ESO I found something really cool that I hope you and others get to see. I did this to get the ebony bow, thanks by the way it was really helpful. but then I left and there is this dome structure you can go into. it looks like the entrance to a crypt but it's not, and in the middle there is a skeleton with something called a wooden mask,and it looks just like a dragon priest mask and it's enchanted but it only says "the wooden mask hums with an unfamiliar energy." but I just put it on and it like telephoned me to the past so now the shrine doesn't look all broken a day there's this stone thing with all these busts that I've seen in the loading screen and it's for all the different dragon priests I think. there's Volsung, Vokun, Otar, Morokei, then on the other side there's Rahgot, Nahkriin, Hevnoraak, and Krosis. I figured this was kind of interesting and maybe you can put in a video because that would be super cool, unless this is normal in which case... that. but I've never seen it before and it's really cool to me so maybe I could get a little information on what it is. I think you have to put all the dragon masks on the busts but I've never found a dragon mask before. I also don't know if this could spawn I different places every game like the Meridia's beacon. Anyway thanks for your time and I hope this is interesting.
also I just glitches out of it with a kettle and it's actually just it's own little word a floating room. but strangely there are some mountains behind it that you can't see from the I side, they are floating too

Tip for killing ebony bow dude: You are able to kill him by knocking him down the pit towards the ebony great sword guy. Climb onto a rock that is to the right of the pit, wait for him to come out of the door, and Unrelenting Force him down the pit. He should die from the fall damage.👍

Also, for those looking for a one-handed ebony sword early on, there are two draugr death(over)lords (probably level dependent, i was level 18 and got death overlords) at arcwind point south of ivarsted. one sleeps in the coffin in the middle of the large arc construction, the other is just up ahead when you walk up the mountain. if you are low-level, avoid the first; the second can be killed by shooting him with a bow, then hiding behind the mountain, where you are save from his shouts and his pathfinding AI can't lead him. sneak, wait til you are hidden, go out again - repeat. it took me about 50 iron arrows with an imperial bow and no perks -- so yeah, you can do it at level 1 indeed.

You can always use the traps within the dungeon to hit the deathlord with the bow. I did this when I went after one of the dragon priests, the one who has three deathlords in his dungeon and it worked quite well. Was pretty difficult to do though so watch out for that.

You can also get an ebony sword and shield at lv 1 it you travel to Valthume and kill one of the Draugr. He drops it every time. The shield can be found in one of the rooms as well. Just a nice OP way to start the game as a Sword + Shield warrior
I found an interesting place in black reach called sinderions field lab it's cool cause sinderion was an oblivion character looking for nirnroot and his journal shows how he goes from creosol to blackreach

if you guys want to make killing him easier do the part of the main quest where you visit the greybeards and they teach you the second word of unrelenting force. once you learn that shout all you have to do is shout him down the whole then he dies instantly. there is also a way when you jump down the whole there is a chest and to get to it you have to jump on a rock or something, all you have to do is stay up there and pick off the other guy with a bow so you dont have to worry about dying from getting hit by his war axe.

I know it'd be quite hard to get at a low level, but i find the Deadric waraxe with the vampire enchantment the best weapon to use. Unless you get one hit by something, you're pretty much invincible and can just stand right in front of them because you get the 25 health points from hitting them.

The Deathlord was fairly easy for me I use the Werewolf build (that I funnily enough learned from your werewolf build guide vid) and I just used Berserker Rage ability and then turned into a Werewolf and killed him.
Werewolf's are not fair haha
I like how you sneek up on your enemys, and I just run into them and start smacking them with my weapon 😂😂

i got skyrim in 2018 and your vids made me really catch up with other people amd their amazing weapons. i got an ebony battlaxe and ebony bow at level 10 but i also had wuuthrad. every video has helped and i am currently trying to make a wood sword with 10000000 damage
Just follow the video to kill any enemy with one hit, it uses a poison that does 6k damage

Another tip,(if your a starter)Goto the blacksmith in river wood,but the dagger that absorbs 8 HP,Goto a arcane enchantment lab,dis enchant it,and put it on the ebony bow(I did this with level 21 enchantment).This works so well!

So I found this video at lvl 26 man the bow guy was hard took like 5 tries the guy had a shout attack thank God for the frost anternoch staff from the forge guide you have

just walk around skyrim there's. thalmor justicars with 2 soldiers in fill elven armor transporting prisoners just kill them save first. found group when i was leaving riverwood lvl 3

With the first draugr-lord I would sneak into the room with my falmer bow and shoot two iron arrows then swiftly run up the hallways. I did that several times so it never got an attack in. I used Dwarve arrows near the end and finally it was dead. Thanks so much for this video!

The armor you're wearing is from the dark brotherhood
Ancient Shrouded Armor to be exact. You can literally get it at level 1 by using the "Ritual Stone" ability to reanimate nearby corpses. There is a guide video on how to do it precisely.

If you wanted greatsword and he had something else just load your save from outside the dungeon and go back in, on my second try he had the sword, first time was the warhammer. Also, you may as well do it on the easiest difficulty, I dont see any down side...just put it on easiest difficulty and breeze through the dungeon then when your done put it back to whatever you had before. Weird that this is even an option because it feels cheap, like why not put it on easiest difficulty right before every fight if you really wanted to? is there any downside? Im not gonna coss it would ruin the game but just curious

I don't know if you missed it but he did tell to save at a specific spot outside the dungeon first. Most probably at that spot the draugrs haven't spawned yet, so if you don't find the weapons, reload, the mobs will respawn, try again, and repeat till you find the weapons. I'd say that's guaranteed or I don't know what is, sir!

I apologize to ESO in advance. I don't like contradicting someone who puts in the time and effort to make tutorials and I love ESO and the tutorials he provides. But this is not how to get these weapons at level 1. The character shown already has a high sneak and backstab. You will never survive this barrow at level 1 unless you turn the setting down the easy and even then, you might not.
The better way to do this is as follows- go to riverwood, do the faendal quest to get faendal because you have to have a companion to get the bow at level 1. Buy as many iron arrows as you can, then head to Labyrinthian. Don't go in the front of Lost Valkygg - that's the door shown in this video. You go in the back way. It's a door off to the side of the staircase leading up to the main door. You go in the back door and the draugr with the Ebony Greatsword is in there. You run around him and jump up to where the chest is on the platform. He can't reach you now, and he has no ranged weapons so you are safe. While he wails on Faendal, you fire every arrow you have into him. Once he goes down, give Faendal the ebony greatsword.
Now you are ready to go into the front door. Faendal is going to tank with the greatsword, you are going to hide like a sissy baby. You use follower commands to tell Faendal to attack the draugr while you hide. Faendal might go down a few times, but he'll always get back up again - unlike you. So you hide until he kills the baddies. Each time he kills the baddies, you save your damn game. When you get to the guy with the bow, understand he is one of the deadliest enemies in Skyrim. He can one-shot you in dragonbone armor, so don't think for a second he can't do it now. Let Faenal go after him. You hang back and keep annoying him with arrows from a very long distance. It will get him to focus on you, so Faendal can get up and whack him again. If he stays focused on Faendal, Faendal will never get the chance to recover. Eventually, and it's going to take time, Faendal will wear him down and you've got your bow and greatsword.
That's how you really do it at level one, right out of Riverwood, with your longbow and iron weapons. If you want to do a little bit more legwork, I'd also suggest running from Morthal to get Meeko first. Meeko's a stray dog just to the West of Morthal in a little shack off the road. Meeko and Faendal combined are a great distraction team and will wear down the Deathlord faster. And that's how you do it. That's how I did it on Expert Difficulty and no perks.

i did it , got both the items. However, that one with the bow was really difficult to kill as he would kill me in one shot and his melee weapon seemed to be able to kill me in 3 strokes.Anyway, thanks for the guide was very helpful

I chose sun just because I think the Sun legendary looks more impressive than the one in Moon. I hope they bring back the ognum infinium glitch cause I know a lot of people were disappointed when they fixed it.
Nahhh that takes the fun out of leveling. Besides i just go with the flow. Dont get me wrong this guy does great vids and has even helped me a bit when i had trouble lvling my alteration. But the Ogma Infinium glitch just takes the fun out of it. I never even use the thing. Just keep it in a bookshelf.

i know im a bit late... but this is the exact guide i have been looking for. im pretty much making the usual stealth archer, but with a twist. i am using a heavy helmet and something else, while the rest is light. for my melee i am using a greatsword. when stealthing fails, hack n slah the crap out of the enemy

Ebony swords are rare drops from him he's weak if he has that swords you can get closer to them

SPOILER ALERT FOR THIS COMMRNT, GOOD TIP IF AT END OF DARK BROTHERHOOD QUESTS. at the front of the emperors ship you can find a glass sword in the wood pointing out of the front, it staggers enemies every hit.
Is it there before the quest??
