Wow! Thank you so much Mary. I’m so happy you love Maysama’s LED Gua Sha. This is such an amazing comprehensive video 🙏. One of the other benefits of combining LED in this device is that it aids product absorption, so you will get more from your skincare too. 💚💚
I may buy this. I’m an esthetician and I love lymphatic drainage and incorporate that into my client’s face massage however, it’s important to stimulate the system in your chest prior to facial lymphatic drainage. The lymph from your face needs a pathway to leave the system or else you risk buildup of lymph in the chest area. A few minutes of pumping and movement near the clavicle , chest and above armpits will do it 😁
When you say pumping, can you explain that better please? I do gua sha for lymphatic drainage and must have a huge buildup in the chest area by now as I never heard of this. Thanks.
My skin is sensitive/eczema/roseacea (maybe) type skin. Can I use squalene oil instead of any kind of facial oil? Also is there a cooling temperature function? Thank you this video is very informative❤
Hi Mary! I have a similar gua shua product from Amazon. I need to pull it back out. It has all the features except the red LED light and is great for lymphatic drainage. The gua shua you reviewed is s great price point. If ai didn’t have something similar already, I’d buy this for sure!
Just ordered the Maysama's LED Gua Sha and used your code, thank you! Had been thinking abt it for awhile, but your review just convinced me to buy it. :)
@@SkinObsessedMary Been using it for a few days and love it. Quick and easy, love the warm sensation, and it's kind of fun to use - all of this makes me want to use it every day, which is good for lymphatic drainage and skin health!
I love my gua sha but I don't use it often enough. I've been a tooth grinder for almost 10 years post violent sexual assault. So much so that I've deformed my jaw on my right hand side. My birthday is coming up and my son was wondering what to get for me. I had no clue what to get as I have most things that I need. I guess I know now what to ask for! Thanks Mary. I had seen this but had no idea it was so affordable. I also love Maysama pressed serum with my led mask.
Emer, I'd love to give you a big hug right now. Another thing to consider for grinding...have you considered Oralift? It would be really good for that too.
@@SkinObsessedMary I bought it and bit through it when trying to mould it because I didn't realise how hard I was biting down on a full time basis! Must root it out again though and see about the second set cos I think that's ok. I've a very low gag reflex too which doesn't help.

Red light is really excellent for the thyroid, you can definitely use this particular device on the center of the neck where the thyroid is located. That's not true for other beauty devices.
For sure! I use a separate LED mask on my neck too. I don't have any instruction for how to use the gua sha pressure on the throat, so I avoid it. Any pointers?

Because you keep sharing how much you love the Maysama cleanser I decided to try it… it arrived today and I washed my face with it tonight… it is SO lovely! Oh wow! Been thinking about a guy shua but now I def need this one!!! Question: How do you work this into your nightly routine? Do the oil and gua sha THEN all the other serums and moisturizers?
Oh I'm so glad you're trying Maysama. I just LOVE their stuff. I started buying the Press Rooibos serum in bulk (I get 3 at a time) because I use every day with the LED mask. As for order, I'm actually going to start doing my serums first (because they're being pushed into the skin), then the gua sha with oil and then moisturiser / tret after.
Really enjoying your channel and glad I found you. I have the Dr Dennis Gross LED mask and instructions say to use on a clean dry face. I’m curious to hear that you put an oil on beforehand with your LED device. I might try that although I don’t have the oil you have. I have Caroline Hirons new support oil.
No I only us the oil with the gau sha tool because it gives the slip you need. I never used anything with my LED mask before I learned about the Maysama Green Rooibos Pressed Serum and how it boosts the effectiveness of the LED. I did a video about it if you want to check it out: bit.ly/3StXr8R In fact I did another interview with the founder too bit.ly/3P2Uivp I buy 3 bottles at a time and use daily with my LED mask (I use my own discount code too!) I've heard the Dennis Gross mask is amazing!!
I tend to use this on alternating nights from the microcurrent (just because I haven't the time). I think I'd probably use last as it's the most relaxing and I like to leave the oil to absorb into my skin overnight
The Red & IF are difference waves lengths and work very synergistically together to stimulate collagen production, so great for antiaging. The blue wavelengths work on on the surface of the skin to kill bacteria, so it's great for acne-prone skin.
Great Video thank you, I’m very interested in this, doing a little more research but am likely to order this. Also great price and very travel friendly so a good option when I can’t take my red light panel. I have a rose gua sha but keep it in the fridge downstairs so I forget about it 😂
Sorry, I don't exactly understand the question. I do know that using gua sha BEFORE mucrocurrent will help that session be more effective. Just make sure you wash off the oil first.
You know, they're really a bit different. The gua shaw is more for releasing tension/toxins, lymphatic drainage, improving circulation. The Urchin is more of a rejuvenation device using microcurrent to stimulate and tone the facial muscles. They both have LED and heat/massage. I guess it just depends what you're looking for. I love them both.
Mary -- I am curious why you don't recommend applying Maysama's Green Rooibos Pressed Serum before using the Supercharged Gua Sha (because you apply it before using your LED mask). I've ordered the Gua Sha using your coupon code, but not the pressed serum...should I have?
It's only because LED is on the skin longer with my mask - it's in place for the full 10 minute cycle all over my face, neck and chest, vs the gua shaw which is only in contact with the stone's location. [Reading that, i'm not sure if it made sense!] The oil I'm using for the gua sha also contains a ton of antioxidants, so I'm getting the additional protection there. The pressed serum is excellent and I wouldn't go a day without it, so it's something you can add in. I buy 3 bottles at a time (yep I use my own discount too!).
I know.....crazy money. I was very kindly sent it by Furtuna and I love it. I'm not sure I'll be able to repurchase though. There are so many affordable oils out there. In fact, I'm dying to try the new one by Byoma (because I love all their products) go.shopmy.us/p-1450514

When using a LED face mask oil is not allowed because the Red light and NIR would not be able to penetrate below the skin, so what benefit does the Red and NIR give to the skin while oil is on the face?
I'm using the oil to really benefit the gua sha more than the LED. In this instance I"m using the pulse LED light to help with uptake of product penetration. I also use a separate LED mask/panel for the full LED benefits.
I received my gua sha today and I was looking forwars to the relaxing experience, but the device is so noisy, that I can't find it relaxing. Is yours noisy, too?

Don't you think loosening up fascia can stretch it and promote sagging? I would like to use the gua sha, but nervous down the line I will be sorry. I have a regular gua sha.
I am wondering this same thing. "Loosening" the fascia that holds your skin together sounds like a really bad idea at least in a logical sense. In a clinical trial idk what would actually happen, just seems bad. There is that fascia loosening tool for body cellulite that some woman named ashley black (i think that is her name?) sells... and apparently a lot of people have been disfigured by it. You'd think it is ok to do this on your face if it has supposedly been done for so many generations... but maybe it is misinformation? Hard to know what to think anymore. Edit: just remembered that body tool is called the "fascia blaster"
I am wondering the same thing too 🤔I feel as though I'm not a trained professional, and frankly knowing me would probably do more harm than good to myself 😂
@@ekatag6494 @TheHonestChannel has a lot of videos that talk about how cosmetic skin treatments involving heat or even red light reduce fat and cause volume loss in the face, and considering this device combines literally all of these things I am glad that channel came up for me today because I was going to order it, and would rather be safe than sorry.
