I really like RA's more serious songs like this one. It shows they have real substance and bad experiences to draw on as inspiration, and their more irreverent horrorcore lyrics aren't just pretence. These are truly real geniuses.

Possessed travels frequently but was renting an apartment here in south London across from my grandparent's from like 2015 to 2020. She also owns the property he rents and as a resident myself I would occasionally see him and his girlfriend over there inbetween their trips. They have a dog too. A pit/rot mix. The kind you would always see in DMX's music videos and album artwork. I've spoke to him several times but mostly didn't want to disturb his privacy. But after building some rapport with him I finally asked him if he was working on new music, specifically a solo project and he affirmed this to be true and even invited me in and we listened to several mix and mastered tracks. I probably heard about 20+ unheard Possessed verses in total that he has been piling for the last decade. The album is going to be called 'Exorcisms' and will feature 18 to 20 new songs. He told me of atleast 5 features including Reign, Arkaic and Respek BA, Immortal Tech and Diabolic and the late Prodigy of Mobb Deep. I've not heard their verses but I did here Prodigy on a back n forth chorus on a song called 'Street Struck'. There was also a song called 'It's On Sight' which is an epic 5 minute diss track aimed at the commercialization of Hip-Hop. He name drops and disses like every rapper ever. Parts of it are hilarious and others are just ruthless. And one called 'The Miseducation of Paul '. It was about his life growing up in the working class trap. He interpolates M&M's 'Rock Bottom' chorus. I didn't see any album artwork. It is supposed to be released soon.
