you have taught me, what I have been searching for 2 years! Thank you very much. Keep making more videos on Mac-built-in apps. You are going to save me a lot of time and space. Thanks
thanks!!! I couldnt find anywhere a solution to insert an image to a pdf with preview! not even in preview help, anywhere! until here i found the simple but unexplainable solution to select copy then paste then copy again and now is pasteable! thanks!!!
Thank you very much! Do you know if it's possible to rotate the PNG that I'm copying into the PDF? When I'm copying the PNG to the PDF it is rotated in the wrong way...don't know why. Thank you again👍
Yes it's possible. Worst case, in preview rotate the PNG first (go to tools in menu to rotate or CMD+R or CMD+L) then "export" / "save as" a new image with the correct direction. Then copy paste from that new image with correct direction to the PDF
Just to note, this technique does not work if the image you are trying to copy has been converted to a PDF. The image must be in jpg, png, or heic format.

Correct, but we can screenshot of it, or convert it back to image before copy paste it
