Thats the UK, total freedom, beats, lyrics, forrrrrrrrrrrrward.
Ring a ring a roses is how u sing it he just changed it to a pocket full of pinkies mean pocket full of money
Nice reaction g, ring a ring o' roses was actually a English nursary rhyme about the plagues in Europe, America's version was edited for some reason but yeh just some info
Okay so it was same children song I know just the og uk version 😂😂
bro your bang on with the structure of grime it isn't supposed to be a song more 16-32 each n flows n word play...this is reason won't ever be genre that is accepted commercially or for the man on the fence. when artists try water it down n go commercial with it the structure goes and isn't grime or hip hop its just shit n non translatable to the man on the fence which is good for the hardcore grime heads wanting keep it authentic but a nightmare for those trying to make a quick quid out of it...its grimey its supposed to be tacky soundingly made and loose. but you see the concept of setting up of rhymes is closest it comes to a hook or chorus
are version is Ring a ring a roses/rosie is different. He did a play on our version, so it was different to our version anyway (but yeh both US and UK have different versions of the same Child's rhyme)
Bro what does this even say lol
John dory is a fish, so he’s saying those man are moving fishy meaning being suspicious.
Putting your faith in chance is like basically saying your are going to take a chance
His faith is not in "chance", but in "chants" (rap in this case), the he will plant is seed and raise his plants while making his plans....... Etc etc
Okay I totally get it now bless.
@@Jurnalist_ that's not it. I don't put faith in chance, I put my faith in Chance ( The rapper) , an independent rapper who always references plants and I was listening to Coloring Book bare at this time.
I requested this
Big up
1:49 - Radio influence:
- If a riddim gets wheeled but has a mad long intro (or even a short one) you need something to say.
- OR if you get swung the mic and get caught off guard, it allows you to fill in until you get to spit proper.
- OR if it's a lull in the beat, it allows you to prelude to the drop and get the jackum when the drop comes because everyones anticipating it.
'Set ups' is a perfect term for it
A set up could be used for a hook and vice versa.
12:42 - Jones cafe, Leicester (Kams hometown)
My boy who does music (R&B/Soul stuff) met Kam and said he was a cool guy tbf.
Okay that expalins it and makes esnse. I just used the x dot x dot start your flow concept on that Coki record.
So Im trying to learn what those are as I only see them used by grime emcees.
He seems like a solid guy just a real calm dude just happens to be good at sport and music.
the "I don't put my faith in chance, I put my faith in Chants" bar, is a football reference, as a player, he puts his faith in Chants, he knows the fans have his back, he might even be saying (and/or) that the chants of the crowd have an effect on the game (which is a thing, they do affect the game), He is also playing on that parallel (chants/crowds) with Music
I always thought it was about Chance the rapper, as the next bar says "He taught me write my verses, plant my seeds and raise my plants"
@@fractal_mind562 This is what I always heard too
he has music coming out this year I think he said on twitter.
He better 😂😂 boy is cold
Just looked him up and he plays for Dagenham so thats pro game but lower level pro, just outside the Football league, he probably gets comfortable wage from football, but would not be surprised if he makes more money from music (so like minor league Baseball at the lower levels)
Yea man needs to drop more music bro is cold
yeah bro cola league 2 my local team seen him play few times round here hes sick
@@DBZ483 I’ve heard good things about hood footy skills. Dope to see his got so many talents.
Great reaction.. best riding rnb artist who’s gonna take over.. jo Jordan - hold on ( studio performance ) and your body ( studio performance ) .. can’t wait !!!
these guys wont take over no matter how hard they go they are unsellable look like losers and just talk about trash... they both have bars but no content that is mass marketable.
Swear down you catch more bars than anyone
If I know the slang or culture nothing will be missed. But I’m still learning.
Is he saying “I don’t put faith in chance, I put faith in chants”?
lol if this dude was a premier league footballer he'd rapping in a mansion in gold bath
check his freestyles
For real sbtv. Fire
he plays for my local team and he goes mad on the mic lol
n he play CC league
Cc league?
Check out avelino f64 very underrated
On the channel already my g
@@Jurnalist_ ye man .ill check it out
Jordan mccann fire in the booth
Kamakaze....yeah man is a great spitter, seems to have gone quiet over the last couple of years. Around the time he dropped "Justice" he was dropping stuff all over the place but I rarely hear him now.
Maybe "Justice" was too controversial....who knows
He’s taking football more serious now I think mate
@@hannibullzuk1684 Yeah I was going to say the same. He's on his football thing.
@@Ecstasio how was justice controversial at all? Lol
@@IEarlGrey lol
Everyone knows his name was Cassius Clay but he changed his name and hated his former so respectfully people call him Muhammad Ali
his Grime Show with Spyro is arguably better in my opinion but maybe thats cos im a grime head
Can we get both Ocean Wisdom Fire In The Booths soon g?
I got you my g 🫡🤝🏾
@@Jurnalist_ patiently waiting looooll ur grind is different mayn
