During change of class, the door could be opened and anyone could easily slip in. Even with the 200+ cameras, they were in. It was impossible to cover every door all day. A gun/knife could come in and be stashed for days or months. Very sad situation all around. It can happen anywhere. Forgive my ranting.

What a difference in the laws after an arrest between this state and Florida. When the Sheriff states “There’s a 16 yo suspect we are Not allowed to talk to”, laws in this state are sadly not made to help victims of crime. A student is dead at the hands of another student. The shooter needs to be questioned, regardless of age! Attorney or parent/guardian can be present being as the suspect is under age. Regardless!

As a Canadian military Veteran watching these events once, twice, three times a week for decades, I thank God that my nation has had the collective wisdom to control these sorts of militarily weapons that are spread throughout the US.
