he sounds like he's really content with being a regular guy with a regular job instead of being in the industry. Despite what anybody has to sayabout there being bad blood between the guys, I really think that if Woody wanted to come back tomorrow they would make space for him in Dru Hill, even though they have a new set of guys. As a fan, I love the original formula...but I respect the fact that people in the entertainment industry are regular people too...Woody seems like he's seen what's out there, saw what it was like, and just decided to walk away from it. We all think we want fame until we actually get it.

Everyone is listing off all these album cuts that he had solos on, but "5 Steps" is the only HIT out of any of them. I'm pretty sure THAT is what Woody is getting at. He didn't get a chance to show out on any of the hits. And the rest of these comments are harsh af. He doesn't seem whiny or insecure at all to me. Woody seems like he holds a lot of grudges. Harbors on things. The thing is Woody we all liked you too. We all saw you too. There was a recipe for the original members and Woody made up that recipe too. If if anything you should feel blessed you got the opportunity to touch many people all around the world. People actually would still love to see him in the group but it is what it is.

@@telikaandfam He just didn't speak up or rebel. He could have gotten what he wanted at least sometimes. Instead of holding it and pouting and then years later airing it out on RUclips. The record label didn't want Sisqo to have blonde hair and they made him dye it black. But right before they shot the video for tell me he went in the bathroom and bleached it back. Some things Woody could have tried to stand up for himself for. Like all the times that he wanted to quit the group but couldn't because everybody would be so happy to see him when he showed up. He said it himself that he was soft.
I love Woody, had his first gospel album,lovely voice. Humble and decisive, I respect that. Never folding against the backdrop of others opinions.
. I hope he finds peace in all of this. It seems like his mother years of opinion has had a major impact on his choice to leave or stay. I hope he comes to a point where he's making this decision for himself only.

I just recently discovered dru hill. I was to young to know of them in their hey day, but after listening to their music and interviews it's good to hear Woody side of their story. About Dru Hill...if u listen to the FIRST cd in its entirely...Woody is singing just as much lead as Sisqo back to back. I think its was politics that all the songs released were the ones Sisqo sang lead on. But its label politics...u can tell who could sing and not sing in Dru Hill. Woody was one of the best singers in that era when they came out.
