ആദി ഏട്ടാ ഞാൻ ഒരു പുസ്തകം 12ഹൗർ ഓക്കേ വായിക്കാറുണ്ട് ഇടക്ക് ബ്രേക്ക്‌ എടുക്കാറുണ്ട് വായിക്കുന്നതിന്റ ഇടയിൽ ഫോണിൽ മീനിങ് അപ്പൊ അപ്പൊ ചെക്ക് ചെയ്തു പോവാറാണ് പതിവ് ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു തൃപ്തി കിട്ടാത്തത് പോലെയാണ് . അങ്ങനെ ഒരു ശീലം ആണ്.. E-book വായന അത്ര താല്പര്യം ഇല്ല. വായനയെ കുറച്ചു ഇത്രയും പറയുന്നത് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ മനസ് നിറയുന്നു 🌹🌹..

ലാപ്ടോപ്പ് ലെ notes Mail ൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ Google Drive ൽ ആണെങ്കിൽ കൂടുതൽ അടുക്കും ചിട്ടയും കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്.
PDF ൽ മാത്രം കിട്ടുന്ന content പ്രിന്റ് എടുക്കാൻ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞു പ്രിന്റർ വാങ്ങി, പേപ്പറിൽ വായിക്കുന്ന സുഖം ഒന്നു വേറെ. പക്ഷെ ആടുജീവിതം ആദ്യം വായിച്ചത് മൊബൈൽ ഫോണിൽ നേരിട്ടാണ്. പുസ്തകത്തിനെ കുറിച്ചോ പേപ്പർ നെ കുറിച്ചോ ചിന്തിക്കാൻ time ഗ്യാപ് കിട്ടിയില്ല. 😉 പിന്നീട് പുസ്തകം വാങ്ങി പല തവണ വായിച്ചു.
ഞാൻ ഒറ്റയിരുപ്പിന് വായ്ച്(സിനിമ പോലെ കണ്ട് എന്ന് പറയാം അത്ര intresting ആയിരുന്നു)തീർത്ത പുസ്തകങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായിരുന്നു Alchemist എജ്ജാതി feel...

പണ്ട് പഠിക്കാനുള്ള പുസ്തകങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ ലൈബ്രറി പുസ്തകങ്ങളെ ഒളിച്ച് വച്ച്, പഠിക്കുവാണെന്ന വ്യാജേന ആർത്തിയോടെ വായിച്ച് തീർത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. കള്ളം പിടിച്ചാൽ പഠിക്കേണ്ട സമയത്ത് പഠിക്കുന്ന പുസ്തകം "പഠിക്കൂ" എന്നച്ഛൻ വഴക്ക് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് മലയാളസാഹിത്യത്തിൽ പി. ജി. യുമെടുത്ത്,ബി. എഡിനു ചേർന്ന്, ഫോണിൽ കുത്തിയിരിക്കുമ്പോ അച്ഛൻ പറയും നിനക്ക് "എന്തെങ്കിലു"മൊന്ന് വായിച്ചൂടേയെന്ന്..!
താങ്കളുടെ ഈ വർത്തമാനങ്ങൾ ആ പഴയ വായനാനുഭങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.. ആ ആർത്തി ഉള്ളിലെവിടെയോ അടങ്ങാതെ കിടപ്പുണ്ടെന്നത് ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തി.

Well said, വായന ഒരു പ്രതേക ഫീൽ തരും, സ്കൂൾ ഇല് പഠിച്ചിരുന്ന സമയം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ബുക്ക് കൾ ലൈബ്രറി യില് നിന്ന് എടുത്തതിനു എന്റെ സ്കൂൾ ഇല് നിന്നൊരു ബുക്ക് സമ്മാനം കിട്ടി, അതൊരു addiction പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ എന്നാണ് മാറ്റം തുടങ്ങിയത് എന്ന് അറിയില്ല, മൊബൈൽ ഉം ടിവി യും ആയി സമയം കളയുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ആ പഴയ എന്നെ എവിടെയോ മിസ്സ് ചെയ്ത ഒരു feel.

I found "How to read a book" by Mortimer J Adler is the first book anyone should read to learn how to read a book.

I have found Audio books a good option for people with busy schedules. Can be accessed while traveling, jogging etc. From personal experience it gives not the same experience of reading, but a different one. But still, at the end, the content will remain in mind just like how it is after reading a book. Some narrators give it an extra feel. I heard Madhavikkutti's Ente Katha in Bagyalakshmi ma'am's voice. I can't explain how good i felt. Storytel is a very good app for audio books.

English പഠിക്കണം എന്നുള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ How to win friends and influence people ബുക്കിന്റെ മലയാളം ഞാൻ വാങ്ങിയില്ല. But book വായിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു പേജിലെ തന്നെ അധികം വാക്കുകളും എനിക്ക് പുതിയതാണ്. ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്ന അർഥം തന്നെയാണോ വരികളിൽ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് എനിക്ക് അറിയില്ല. എന്നാലും വായന ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ തയ്യാറല്ല. എന്റെ ഓർമ്മ ശരിയാണെങ്കിൽ 3 മാസം കൊണ്ടാണ് ആദി ഏട്ടൻ English പഠിപ്പിച്ചത്. അത് ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ ഒരു inspiration aanu.

Dearest dearest Aathiyettaa, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this series 🤗 Not that other series are any less interesting, but this got me to restart few actions which unfortunately got de prioritised due to all the office pressure and now the added issue of lockdown and self cooking and self maintenance. I am charging up my kindle now and will finish the books I have on it. വായനയെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയുമ്പോൾ എഴുത്തിനെക്കുറിച്ചും പറയണമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. എഴുതുവാനുള്ള മഷിക്കുപ്പി നിറയുന്നത് വായനകളിലുലൂടെയാണ്. അനുഭവങ്ങൾക്കും ഭാവനകൾക്കും എഴുത്തിൽ ശരിയായ നിറങ്ങൾ പകരാറുന്നത് വായനയിൽ നിന്നും കടമെടുത്താണ്.
വായനയുടെ അനുഭൂതിയോളം സ്വയം അറിയുന്ന മറ്റൊന്നില്ല. പക്ഷെ വായിച്ച പോലെ അനുഭൂതി കിട്ടിയ ഒരു ഉദാഹരണമുണ്ട്. 'കൈയൊപ്പി'ലെ മമ്മുട്ടിയുടെ കഥാപാത്രം എഴുതുന്നത്. വായിച്ച ഓരോ കാഥാപത്രങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകളിൽ നിറയുന്ന ഭാവങ്ങളും, പലയിടാത്തതായി കാണിക്കുന്ന കുറച്ച് കടലാസുകളെ ഒരുപാട് കേട്ടതാണെങ്കിലും ആശ്ചര്യത്തിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കൊണ്ട് വർണിച്ചും അത് മുഴുവൻ വായിക്കാതെ വായിച്ച ഒരു അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. പിന്നെ എപ്പോഴോ ആ സിനിമയിൽ നടക്കുന്നത് പുറം ലോകം കാണാത്ത ആ നോവലിന്റെ ലളിതമായ ഒരു പ്രതിധ്വനിയാണ് എന്നു തോന്നും.

I attended 80 minutes long webinar by Jim Wik, one of the best speed reading coach. The webinar was worth all the hustle I went through to attend it. And a very superficial technique that he taught was to read using your fingers as it creates movement and our eyes tend to hunt for movement over any passive situation.

I read the Adujeevitham when I was working in an Oil and Gas company.The work site was in a dessert area.Staying in a single cabin within a dessert and reading that novel ,it haunted me other than anything...it disturbed me very badly....thanks for your video to inspire me to restart reading habits....this time more seriously... with love from the corner of a Oman dessert...

ചെറുതായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ധാരാളം പുസ്തകം വായിക്കുമായിരുന്നു, വായിച്ചതിനെക്കാൾ കൂടുതൽ വായിപ്പിക്കാൻ ആയിരുന്നു ഇഷ്ടം. എല്ലാവരെയും നിർബന്ധിച്ചു വായിപ്പിക്കും. അവസനം കട്ട്‌ വാങ്ങിയ പുസ്തകം മുഴുവനം കിട്ടാകടമായി എങ്ങോ പോയി.
