I just absolutely love your temperature blanket!!! Life happens and everything doesn’t always go as planned. I’m extremely excited to see your updates!!! Your blanket is so unique!!! Keep going as it is a piece of art work. I would enjoy any videos you create as I throughly enjoy your channel, content and your sweet sweet spirit has really been a blessing to me!!! And the absolutely lovely addition of the word of GOD is wondering!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤. I continue to pray for you and your family with the lost of your dad!!! Stay strong putting one foot in front of the other and continue to always allow GOD to guide you❤
I love that you haven’t given up on your blanket, definitely an inspiration, so thank you! Also it’s BEAUTIFUL! I really love that you chose variegated yarn, very unique and super colorful 😍💜
I enjoyed seeing your progress! I felt a hug sigh of relief after I “officially “ quit my temp blanket! It’s also okay to quit if it just isn’t the right project for you. It was just to boring for me and crochet is my coping mechanism so I need to love what I’m working on. Very cute cow!
Your blanket is so pretty, and the strawberry cow is adorable. You are a working Woman and that takes the better part of your day. Then you have your family and home to care of, so I applaud you. Remember to take some time for yourself. Thank you for sharing scripture, God Bless!
The cow is so precious! .I like everything in your videos! I love yarn hauls and would like to see zctual yarn reviews. I've so enjoyed your showing us a new project and how it's going and then when it's done, One I really like was how you shared you love of Craft & A Cuppa hexi cardi. It gave me
Love your temperature blanket and that sweet little cow🩷🩷🩷 You’ve inspired me to go ahead and start a temperature blanket even though we’re almost at the end of January. It’s a project I think one can either enjoy or dread, and I definitely want to enjoy the process. Life happens, so I’m not going to get discouraged even if I need a break now and again. Love that you chose variegated yarn and the linen stitch looks incredible. I look forward to seeing updates as you share them. So happy to have found your channel and am excited to watch more of your videos!
I'm so happy you found my channel and that I inspired you to start a temp blanket! I've had my ups and down with it but have found allowing myself to take a break has been really beneficial and kept me more motivated to finish it! Hope you have a great rest of your week ❤️
Thanks. I started my first temp blanket in January 2023 but decided to use 2022 Temps. I was actually ahead for a while but life intruded. My hubby of 42 yrs passed. Because crocheting was my stress relief from taking care of him it has been hard getting back to it. I'm also in July. But hearing you say others struggle too and set your own pace makes me feel better. I will be getting back to mine this week and let it bring the good memories. I wish I had thought of the variegated. Yours is beautiful.
Thank you for being the inspiration for my 2023 temperature blanket! I finished all the rows but still working on fringing. Thank you again for the update
Hey Kristen like you I used same variegated yarns as well but a few different ones you chose, and I did every other day instead of daily for 2023! Ha same for me life got in the way!! I'm almost done with 2023! Got solids this year for 2024,I love the moss stitch! Making this one for our first grandchild born back in 2020 Ha!!
Hahaha! I am on may 8th on mine. I made mine way too wide and it takes me long time to get through a row. I had a lot of things going on. I will try again to get through the rest of the year. I didn’t love my color choices either which might be another reason I didn’t succeed. I love your colors
SOOOO good to see your video today. Love your temperature blanket - I did the very same yarn because I loved yours. I'm on August. I had to add another color because we went over 110 this summer. It has been such fun. Love any video content you post! And your scriptures too.
I love how your blanket is coming along!! I used your idea with the varigated yarn and love it!! I was able to finish mine on time but I had a lot of catching up to do to get it done. Honestly, when 1 row takes 270 stitches, its hard to get motivated sometimes. I swore that would be a one and only project until a saw a few other temperature ideas, one being a daily 2 row granny square and the other being a C2C scarf, both are way easier than a long row. 36 stitches for a granny squares is very doable. You will get yours done in time and can't wait to see it!! Also, I always enjoy your makes videos. That cow is adorable😊
I love Your temperature blanket. I'm going to use colors like yours next year. I finishing up the boader for my blanket for 2023. Really enjoyed doing my first temperature blanket. Love, love the strawberry pig.
Well done not giving up on it. My husband and I have finished ours (my daughter is still working through October) and the sense of achievement is fantastic. I look forward to seeing how yours comes along, it's very pretty. Take care.
I will admit I wasn't sure when you decided to use variegated yarn, but that blanket is turning out so pretty! I am so glad you have gotten back to it! I did finish mine. The knitting was done on Jan 1st, and then I spent a week doing a crocket boarder to help it look more polished. And boy am I glad to be done!
I finished my first temperature blanket a few days ago, and I'm glad I finished it, but...I should have made it wider and my colors did not come out at all like the picture in my mind:/ I don't really like it! Oh well, live & learn. I'm not doing one for 2024, a friend bought me an afghan kit where you make 3 blocks every month. Then they send you every month 3 more blocks and after a year, you're done. I figure that can be my year long project. I'm doing a scrap afghan right now & I'm loving it❤❤
I chose to do squares rather than rows because I knew I would get behind. I did July - November in the two weeks after Christmas and before school started back up. I am about half-way through my December square. I am planning on doing a chevron blanket fir 2024, though.
You're doing great. I started mine early 23. But yes life interrupts and I didn't work on it as much but picked it up again at the end of the year. I am doing traditional colors and boarding the color in Heather gray to make it pop. (we all know how black is hard to work with) I was making 14 wide by 10 HDC squares. I got all the squares done. Worked out a pattern of 14 Sq across by 26 rows and the last Sq was a half day for 12/30 and 12/31 for 364 total squares. Started putting together. Figured out that the 5in by 5in sqs were too big. Making the blanket 70in wide by 130 inches long. 😂 So I have disassembled what I had done and am starting over with now 7 by 5hdc and I am only half way through the Sq assembly. I haven't put any of the rows together. But 14 x 2.5 in will be a perfect size for 2 of my grandsons. One turned 5 and the other turned 1 in 2023. Keep up the great work. I just found your channel today and i love it!!
Thank you for this video! I also got behind and am caught up to the first week of August, so we’re in about the same place! It’s motivating to know we’re working on it “together”. I don’t comment much, but I really enjoy your videos 💜
Life does get busy and challenging at times. I haven't finished my temperature blanket either. But I did finish my hexagon cardigan, but it's ,more like a jacket 😅. I will get back to it. Things are getting quieter so I'll start soon. Some nice and easy to wear ideas if you have any would be good. Take care and I look forward to your next video 😊
I love how your temperature blanket is turning out! No judgment here, as I have not completed my 2020 temperature blanket. I crocheted all of the little motifs but I have not joined them all together. I hope you do post more as I enjoy your videos very much and I’d love to see what it is you’re working on and maybe ideas for future projects
Your blanket is beautiful! I love how the colors all "worked" together 😊 I'm way behind on my 2023 temp rug too but I will finish it!! I've already started my 2024 temp blanket so I'm hoping I won't fall behind! I'd love to see your weekly makes, yarn hauls or reviews of yarn or the patterns you made for video ideas! That cow is absolutely adorable, too!!! God bless you and your family! 🙌
I think I made it through April 2023 on my temperature blanket. I’m doing Tiffany Hansen patterns but lost interest as life happens. The Strawberry Cow is so sweet! When you have time, I’d like to see you with what you’re working on and we can share what we’re soon too.
I’m so excited to see your temperature blanket update. You have inspired me to do a variegated one this year. How many did you end up chaining? I saw a RUclipsr mention if you don’t want a huge blanket then to do it every other day instead of everyday, so that’s what I’m doing. Keep up the great work. Thank you for your videos. Oh that cow is adorable!!
Thank you! That's a good idea to do every other day! And I love that I inspired you to try a variegated blanket! I cant remember how many I chained but I will count and update in my next video!

Can't wait to see your blanket as it progresses

Thanks Shannon! I totally agree. I should have mentioned that in my video! It's not worth spending hours and hours on something you're not enjoying!

Your blanket is fabulous! Now I want to make a temperature blanket. ❤️ the variegated yarn and scripture! Be Well
Thank you so much! 🩷
I’m not disappointed in your progress. I’m sure it’s very hard to keep up with a project that takes an entire year.
Thank you for the understanding! It's definitely a challenge!
Thanks for the update! The Cow is ADORABLE!! ❤
Thank you!
Your blanket reminds me of a Monet painting. I enjoy the update and look forward to seeing more of it.

And I'm sorry your temp blanket didn't turn out how you expected. I know that's frustrating!
Your blanket is beautiful. I finished mine, made with granny squares, Started one for this year using the moss stitch.
