Nexton, you've shown the masses that this is true time and time again. Thank you for your endless commitment to being an example by sharing love, authenticity, and advice to this beautiful community! 💜
100% facts, I've found 2-3 routes where I encounter Galarian Birds all the time, the 2nd and 3rd routes I had to set out for because I moved to the opposite side of my city. There are definitely Asset Folders, Seeded Spawns and everything else that youve mentioned in the game or how else could the game work. For the Galarian Birds, It's just simply a matter of you finding your route/routes where you'll encounter G Birds. It's hilarious Alex because I was doing what you're doing before I even came across your RUclips channel, and sure enough, when I stumbled onto your channel, you confirmed something that I already suspected. Thanks for putting the content out there and confirming what some of us were already suspecting.
I think this is the most clear cut video with evidence so far. People likely already have found their routes, but don't run the Incense enough (like me), or get unlucky with 'bigger' spawns since the spawn rate for GBirds is already so low!
Decided to try this out yesterday on our nearby parkway. On the first half I walked past a specific Pokestop and Staravia spawned. In my way back that same stop spawned a Galarian Moltres. I was using the “roar of time” effect to keep the DAI going for the entire 30 minutes, but it’s making me interested in trying this again.
I’ve done my own “research” and my own theory before seeing this vid I literally wrote this to my chat explaining my thoughts : Comes down to spawn points to start, my house for example has 7 spawns, 2 are always crap, 4 are middle to upper tier let’s call it and 1 is middle to Max tier, that 1 doesn’t always show up sometimes when I open the game it’s dormant but when it does show up it’s normally a starter or evolution or dragon type Pokemon etc I’ve had daily incense end at my place with a Bird spawn or snorlax or Waillord etc rare but happens. So 1 you have to find a place that’s has a rare spawn point, the spawn can’t be active ( has to be during “dormant” phase ) when daily insense activated or have a hidden “incense only” spawn point that’s also a rare tier
This layout honestly makes sense. There might be a few more than given in the example (which would be a lot more tiring to put in), but that would make the most sense to have spots on the map that gets triggered by inscenses. Can't wait for the Shiny GBirds!
@@AlexNexton do you have to be on a route specifically? I have a walking path that spawned a galarian bird once but am I better off trying to find a route that contains one?
Omg I’ve done what you said and you’re 100 correct. It works third day in a row I got a bird at the same spot and today caught a Zapados with just an ultra ball. Thank you thank you so much. Your the man
I've done the same 15 minute drive home from work since the galar birds came out and Alex I'm definitely agreeing with you and need to incorporate the timing aspect into the incense, there is 2 to 3 spots along the path that have had galar birds for me... I'm very curious to know if there is a distance aspect to the path where u also need to walk/drive certain distance before or during the path to see the galar birds even more consistently
10:20 i got an articuno tonight in the last 2 minutes (in a spot I've previously entountered articuno) so i think the time frame of where you are in the incense may also play a factor in the RNG roll of each spawn
im not able to do the same walk every day, but i think i may have found a hot spot as well. I still need to try it more consistantly to confirm. hopefully it brings home a shiny bird. keep up the great research scientist!!
I fully believe this because there used to be this area that anytime i would go to it or just look at the spawns at it at night time it would show all these crazy pokemon like gyarados and blaziken and just like great pokemon and it was where i used my first daily incense and got a galarian bird immediately that ran away
They will probably continue to be available after the event, and spawning the birds may change with this update (since they teased changing daily incense spawns)
i think the larger circle is valid cause i know i had a g bird spawn around the same spot but in a different spawn point before and they were bout 10 meters apart from eachother. and they do spawn in regular spawn spots but theres also unique incense spawn spots depending on the 30 seconds/ enough distance from last point of walking.
Those special spots are nothing new to me. At the early stage of the game (2017~2018) I've noticed that there are many spawn point on the map that are specific to one pokemon. The pokemon respawns in predictable intervals. The same thing as nests, but for a single spawn point. They do reset every 2 weeks, together with nests. I remember when scyther was quite rare, I used to visit its spawn point almost everyday to catch it. I even have used to share with people in the community the coolest spawn points every time the nest changed. But I've never thought of using an incense to alter the spawning pokemon from that spot. Interesting thing.
Thanks for the comment and I’m glad someone else can relate to what I’m talking about 👊 Also, legendary for noticing so early and catching rare spawns back in the day 👊
Thankfully theyve confirmed the shinies will be in the game forever going forward, but the bigger concern is if its not completely random based on rng than it means gbirds are completely inaccessible for some people simply based on where they live.....this would be infuriating & unacceptable. The way i understand the daily incense it has a certain spawn pool & its continuously rolling a dice based on how long you walk and a gbird is assigned to x number on the dice so once it comes up one spawns.
Great video! A Pokémon spawns every 30 seconds while your daily adventure incense is active as long as you are 50m away from the previous spawn. Have you tried walking a straight line back and forth so that every other spawn is inside your known “G-Bird” radius? I can reliably get 24-26 spawns per incense just walking back and forth in a straight line each time a new Pokemon pops up. Would be great to see if you encounter more birds if you’re getting 12-14 of your spawns to land inside your radius.
I have seen galarian birds many times too in same stopp for several times. And i go the same route. Then i see 2 birds or 3 in one week. Now i have caught 9 galarian birds so far
When you say routes do you mean like the in game feature where you start a route and exchange with Mateo or a route that you could take to work? Sorry if this is a bit confusing
Do you think these circles can grow? For example the spawns at my house started very low but now after many years there is about 15 spawns with a fully evolved Pokemon almost every time I open the game
At 3:40 When you mean big pokemon, would just any evolved pokemon count? I found 2 spots with evolved pokemon, Luxray and Slowbro. so in theory if i walk back and fourth in between those 2 spots for 15 minutes of daily insense i will stumble across a Gbird?
Would it work to walk twice or 3 times through one spot in 15 min to get more chance on an encounter that you guys know of? Like walk 2 times through the same spot that is shown in de video?

Thinking about this as a software developer, it would consume way more resources to do it this way than to just make spawn location random. But, i remember before poekmon go, Niantic had a different game where they tracked the location of their users. The app showed where the most visited spots were on the map. They could have used the data from that app to use for pokemon go.
He bro, thanks for commenting 👊 Maybe they’re not the ones who mapped the spots out randomly. I assume they’re using Google maps as an api so maybe a feature on that associated with various assets folders. Use an if else statement to change between folders once a daily incense has started? I know I’m saying this in a very simple way, but I don’t see it being too far off that. Thoughts? Daily incense active or not, from walking around my city, mons spawn in the same spots down to a hair length.

Finding the Galarian birds is no small feat. They are legendary, after all. It's not just about random encounters; it’s about knowing where to look, having a solid game plan, and keeping a cool head. You might want to try that last part, by the way. But let’s not dwell on that. Instead, let's shift our focus back to the topic at hand: the elusive Galarian birds.
