- Manufactures often have the same size of airplane, but with different models. In this video we do an in-depth comparison of 2 amazing models from Skywing RC, the 67" ARS, and 67" EDGE.
Both models identically setup with Scorpion A-4225 PNP Combo for the motor / ESC , and Xpert MM3301-HV servos.

Excellent review of both planes. Thanks for the technical data and flight performance!
Thanks for watching!
Very good detailed comparison video;
I’d love for the first few sentences to be this plane cost:……
And this plane cost:…..
Love the comparison video, please do more. There is a 67" Laser on the way as well so hopefully a 4 way comparo coming in the future.
Awesome review Kyle. Would love to see a review of the 67” ng as well. A 3 plane comparison would be spectacular! I don’t see anything else like this on RUclips and would be a great help to us who are only going to choose 1 plane.
Hi Kyle Dahl, really nice informative video, thank you.
May I ask you something, what device do you use for balancing the rc aircraft.
( I hope is not the finger method)
Thanks
Angel
Kyle: Excellent review of both planes. Thanks keep up the great work. Jp
The new sky wings are sssoo nice! Thanks for the detailed review Kyle

Awesome review 👍
Thank you for the detailed review.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video on the comparison. Loved the build overview and flight comparison. Personally I wouldn't need the aerodynamic comparison. Thanks for making this video. Must have been a ton of work.
I'd love a comparison between the Edge and the Extremeflight Extra NG.
thanks kyle!!
Awesome buddy thank you for the review like to see review of 67 NG300
Very good video
Perfect review thank you very much
Glad you liked it!
Fantastic video on the difference between the 2 planes. Looking forward to more. Maybe extreme flight or Pilot aircraft. Btw the link to the motor esc combo is broken
Thanks for the heads up. Please see it attached www.scorpionsystem.com/catalog/aeroplane/a_series/PNP_combo/A_4225_PNP/
Hello nice review, I really like the ARS300, but I’m not a 3D pilot. Do you think it’s worth to buy it just for sport flying and do some basic maneuvers like rolls, loops, inverted flight and some knife edge…..thanks
If I were to take a guess regarding the weight differences, it's probably due to the fact that the edge is also designed to run a gas engine. Gas engine equals more vibration which equal more structural bracing required. Same reason my electric only 95" 3dhs extra 330 weighs a good bit less than my 91" ef extra NG, despite the NG being a newer design
Likely!
Thanks kyle, I would like to get the edge and put a stinget 200, do you think is good idea? please let me know any feedback thanks
I am not sure what a Stinger 200 is. Please explain?
Where can you buy these in the US?

I think the ars would benefit if you move the cg a little bit to the back
CG was set the same as edge how I like. Trim for level flight, roll inverted and look for slight falling.
Yeh set the same. Comparing can be diffecult. But it can be that the ars like little more batt to the tail. So the same cg mebe is not the best cg for the other plane
Do you think the 67in size is going to get more popular? Doesn’t seem like they are that much more than a 60 but more performance and stability
I hope it does. It is a great size. Runs on a single 6s pack and has very good presence in the air.
@@dahlkyle yeah I just got my green 67 and it looks amazing… it looks a lot bigger than my 60in
Dont think more, its just a other size.
Just like 50cc whas a size around 85inch. Then they stopped making 3d 85 size ans more 90+inch sizes thit come. Now got back 90+ and 85 size.
The 67 ars is awesome. I just got the 78 extreme extra ng with xpwr 40 and hobbywing 130. Been one issue after another with the xpwr motor. I should of just got scorpion. Never had a issue on my helis
Check out the Scorpion A-5524 PNP combo. Perfect for 78" airframe!

@@dahlkyle thats the one im installing next week. I just ordered the extreme flight 103 inch slick 580. So the next one up in th scorpion line would be good fit. 200amp esc is a bit much for a plane I think.
The most important factor you never mentioned is your radio and receiver setup. If you are using vbar then try something else for a fair comparison
