Hey, Kriss. Instant fan of your vlogs here. I’ll be in Grenada next week for a birthday getaway. It’s my favourite place in the Caribbean, and even though it will be my third visit, your vlogs are giving me new eyes to see the island with. Thanks so much for this wonderful work documenting that you are doing. (I want your Odinkra symbol earrings btw! Gorgeous!!!) One love from Barbados✨
I hope you are having (or had) a wonderful time in Grenada. Did you get to do any of what I did in this video? Yes, I love those earrings too. I think I picked it up in a shop in Grenada! Thanks for watching! 😄
Hi Kriss, I really enjoyed this tour. Thank you for taking us with you!! I've added a few places to my next sightseeing trip, specifically the stunningly beautiful views from the Welcome Stone 👌🏾🇬🇩 I'l bring my trainers for the short hike👟😊 Keep up the great work with these insightful vlogs - they're always packed with insightful gems.
Hi Kriss, you have always done some fantastic vlogs, but I really enjoyed this one because it was a slice of the Grenada that I have visited many times in the past, I loved it, thank you and stay safe.
Blessing my Queen. Thank you for sharing. I will link up with Carl when I visit Grenada I love that he is so humble and well knowledgeable. Happy Holidays and stay safe stay bless.❤
Thank you for showing how beautiful my beautiful homeland Grenada is. The airport was not built by the U.S. it was a gift from the Cuban people to Grenada and built by Cubans and Grenadians.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed. I believe the airport was started by Morris Bishop, with Cuban workers, interrupted by the invasion and then finished by the the US. 😀
@@krissmgvlogs Yes they did finish it but it doesn’t meant they built it. As a matter of fact it was up to the. Grenada would have still not have an international airport. Look up your history please. I wouldn’t go around crediting them for building it because it’s just not facts.
@@krissmgvlogs You’re right and I was not trying to start an argument with you, but when I see people saying things that are false I have to say something especially when it has something to do with my homeland. Don’t know where or how you got that information but it is not accurate or fact. Also whatever they “ contributed “ to its completion they did so because they had no other choice after the did all they could to try and stop the building of the airport claiming it was a military base, then they invaded the country so they had to save-face by helping to complete it to make themselves look good too. Again, please do some history and don’t be fooled by propaganda. Just saying. Completing some isn’t the same as you build it. The airport was not far from completion to begin with anyway.
There's some steep hills in the city st George's. Its scary to ride the bus because you worry that the bus can't climb those hills, but surprisingly they make it up there.
Of all the people who are doing vlogs in Grenada you are def #1. I love how you are so detailed. you have me staying up till after 1 am watching your channel 😊❤
🐢Wow! you have Inspired my family and i to explore more of the island. Carl was so knowledgeable, the Nutmeg tutorial was great. I definitely want to see the leatherback turtles next time🐢
Yes it do have a under current on Levera Beach with will spin you around around until it take you under where their will never find your body.ent that something very dangerous.
I really loved and enjoyed this video and shared it with some friends and family. I was just home myself in August and last week as well. Pearls beach isn’t what it used to be as a kid back in my days. I don’t ever recall seeing anyone bathing in Levera as well but I do know sharks swim closer to land and have seen them get caught by divers there personally. So that may be the reason and the water is rough like Bathway. So many of those places you’ve visited I’ve been as well.
Glad you enjoyed. I wish they would clean up Pearls beach, it is such a beautiful spot. As for Levera, some people say its the current and now sharks, wow! Interesting! Thanks for watching.😃
Hi kris, in this you mentioned that the our new airport was built by Americans, this is incorrect. The MBiA was built by Cubans in the time of the Revolution. I have watched many of your videos and I do enjoy the way you present Grenada. As a Grenadian living abroad I honestly enjoy your presentations and videos of our beautiful Island. In today's world where everyone has the ability to grab a pro stick and camera ot sometimes be overwhelming to look at the same thing over and over. Grenada is a small country as we all know , so many of the videos you look at are mostly redundant, but also has no flare or substance for that matter. Please keep up the good work you do , and continue to stand out and stand apart from the noise within the crowd. Thanks
It was started by Maurice Bishop with help from Cuban workers but at the time of the revolution it was still unfinished. It was eventually finished with 19 million assistance from the US in 1984. Thank you for your kind words. I do try my best to stand out from the rest. 😊
I'm surprised to see so many monkeys walking about the place. I didnt realise they so tame in Grenada. In other countries they can be quite "savage". Great video. I hope to visit Grenada soon! How was it to hold the monkey. Is it heavy? Grenada is a true paradise island.
I've really missed watching your videos, unfortunately i didn't want to be on RUclips because that would have driven me to start uploading videos that I wouldn't been happy about
You look so elegant, the way your skin glistens in the sun is absolutely beautiful! I'm ready to visit. I haven't been back since the late 70s.
awww, thanks for the compliment. Hopefully one day soon you will visit again! Thanks for watching!😊
wonderful, love the vibes, and loved revisiting Grenada's experiences through your lens. I will definitely look out for Carl and his 5-star vehicle.
yes, Carl is worth it. Thanks for watching! 😄
Awesome Kriss! There is a very strong under current at Levera Beach
I guessed that must be the case. Thanks for watching.😃

@@pf5658 The US contributed $19 million towards its completion. Can we draw a line under it. Not worth arguing over.

To think these monkeys came over in the slave ships which I find is amazing. The monkeys were very light and soft. Thanks for watching.😃

how does Grenada compare to Dominica in terms of nature and the poeople
I've never been to Dominica but I imagine it is just as amazing as Grenada! 😃
