Love it. That’s my Team. Forever to thee. My grandmother died at a South Carolina football game from aneurysm. Totally unexpected. One of the worst things I ever had happen to me as a young child but today I appreciate the fact that is a true die hard fan. It’s ingrained in our blood. In the southeast United States it’s not just for fun. It’s your duty to your State to your city. Maybe South Carolina Gamecocks aren’t in known around the world or the country but when the President of the United States (not active when he came to the game) comes to your State Rivalry game at the end of the season that’s pretty incredible. Love my team win or lose. We have always been the underdogs and I love it. Still are and still killing it. We don’t care who your head coach is or how many national titles your school has won. It’s all for the taking on a Satruday at Williams Brice Stadium in Columbia South Carolina.
I worked in downtown Columbia from 1999 to 2003. Three times a damn day (8 am, noon, and 4 pm) a rooster crow, followed by Also Spracht Zarathustra and then the USC fight song, would blast out of speakers on a roof of the building across the street from us. And this was around the beginning of the Holtz era where the team was absolutely hopeless. Gamecock fans are a special breed, they support that team no matter how good or bad it is.
Me too I been searching for something like this for years found it for bama Clemson Michigan and everybody else thankgod I found one for my gamecocks ❤
I was there for that game. It was truly like a religious experience. Like I was baptized in a Sandstorm. It reinforced my decision to wear Garnet and Black.
A cinematic MASTERPIECE!!!! As a diehard Gamecocks fan, I loved perspective the cameraman got one the field. When Sandstorm hit, I finally lost it. It never gets old, and will be a tradition that will last for generations for Gamecock Nation.
Another incredible video! But honestly whether I'm watching this or someone filming it from the stands, I get chills every single time I hear the strains of 2001 and see the team run onto the field. Is there any player in the country who wouldn't want this entrance?
Amazing! Hats off to everyone! The fans, the team, the people in charge of lights and music, and the cameraman who captured this beautiful moment!! -can’t wait for Texas to go there! It’s what the SEC is all about 💪🤘
God I miss being in the band. And it always kinda irked me how all the players sort of just jog out onto the field. Like it would be awesome if just once, our team straight up sprinted to the far corner, and just stares the opponent down as they come out.
Lmao, they don’t want to waste all that energy in the pregame my man. There is a thing called getting too hyped up, that’s why you hear coaches say “you gotta keep your emotions in check.” Usually you let the home crowd intimidate the visiting team.
@@waux I hope so too, but if not I'll go down with the ship alongside you. Although I will freely admit I lost all hope during the dismal MusChump years. Especially because as fans we all knew it was a horrible hire the moment it happened. But then we were stuck with it for years anyway. Now, our recruiting is maybe the best it has ever been. I love the teams we are putting on the field.
That night was a historical night
SC could be 12-0 or 0-12 and I’d still love them with all my heart and soul

South Carolina intro & fans are the BEST in college football and Texas A&M ranked #10 found that out Nov.2,2024.
My opinion

I’m not anywhere close to a South Carolina fan. AT ALL. But this is absolutely awesome. Well done capturing that moment as well

Sandstorm is the best hype music ever.
Wait until we're competing for a title. That stadium is going to create tremors across multiple states.
@@GodLovesComicsHope your right. Even if we lose every damn game I’ll still be a gamecock till I die.

A festival of recorded music.
This is definitely not 2001 😂
The entrance song is the theme from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey
