"Cry" was already a 9-year old video when Beavis & Butthead reviewed it. It was innovative at the time for using face morphing in videos six years before Michael Jackson used it in his video "Black Or White". This is one of Beavis & Butthead's most hilarious moments at the end, when the faces and high pitched Chipmunk voices scare the hell out of the two slackers. 😆😅🤣😂
That guy with the glasses in the end, was actually Godley & Creme's producer Trevor Horn. Who also produced for Tina Turner, Seal, Rod Stewart, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Paul McCartney, etc. And he was also from the band the Buggles, who sang Video Killed The Radio Star.
Yes their takedown of Separate Ways(Worlds Apart) was epic. Best part is when the curly haired guy from Journey who looks like Godley appears and he goes “and then there’s this guy, I mean just look at him.” 😂
Ahhh face disappears I'm glad that's over another face pops up AHHH the face disappears now it's over & another face pops up AHHH AHHH STOP IT! I burst out laughing when I watch this
I know it probably isn't, but the dude at 0:36 looks like Mr. T for real. You know, I like this song, to this day, though I still find this BnB funny, particularly the end. I ripped it off when my daughter was on Sirius, and she laughed a lot.
I love this song, but my god I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw this. Calling that guy R.E.M, and then screaming when they thought it was over and the last 2 cries got shouted at the end of the song 😂😂
First exposure to this song before my parents got the greatest hits CD of 10cc. This is the edited version, but it was still funny to mimic the boys here in the car, especially at the end.
It just hit me. Beavis and Butthead never said anything about the group name. Missed opportunity, guys. Beavis: Hey, Butt-Head. Who are these guys anyway? Butt-Head: They're called Godley and Creme. Beavis: Huh-huh. You said cream!
@@pennypay1 Then the duo suddenly left 10cc to go solo as a duo when the rest of the band (Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart) didn't want to use an instrumental device Godley & Creme created called the "gizmo", which they used on their first album as a duo in 1977 titled "Consequences", a 3-record set. The album was a bomb, but it was considered innovative for its time.
A solid half if not more of the B&B video interstitials was deliberately selected wretched music. Horrible death metal, awful 90’s indie rock, dreadful 80’s pop and new wave. They covered it all.
The way Beavis yells "Stop it!!" still cracks me up 25 years later.
😂🤣

Probably their funniest music video commentary!

@Atomic Elbow Oh yeah, that's right! I forgot that he produced Yes. I also forgot that he was a member of Yes too.
I thought that’s who it was!
0:58 Patrick Swayze! LMFAO!
Man, I almost miss watching Beavis and Butthead as a teenager back in the mid 90s. Used to never miss an episode every week.
What do you mean, "almost"? TV is worse today than ever!
@@handbananaistherapist642 Absolutely! They don't make shows like New Zoo Revue anymore.
Y'all know it's literally on paramount+ rn right? There's been 2 seasons and a movie and season 3 is coming to comedy central.
@@meyerj75 Dont forget no videos on MTV or VH1 just dumb shows that shoulnt b on regular tv
He's not really taking a dump.
BEAVIS hey it’s rem
Can you like...shut up?
@settle down Beavis Oh yeah heh heh
Some real bad acting, being he's supposed to be crying yet it really does look way more like he's struggling on the toilet 😝
It really cracks me up that Butthead knows who Steve Perry is.
That actually wasn't Steve Perry. That was Lol Creme of Godley & Creme.
No that's Freddy Krueger
@@martinkreps9946 You said "cream"
Talk about irony if either one mentions the name Mr T.

This was also heard in an episode of Miami Vice. Season 2 "Definitely Miami"
it's also used in the GTA 4 soundtrack.
This is one of the best ever!!! 😂
Kevin Godley and Lol Creme probably would laugh if they saw Beavis And Butt-Head watching Cry.

What made these video commentaries particularly hilarious was the deliberate selection of mostly awful songs/videos in the first place.

@@feehasfleas3291 I would give anything to live there in the 80's and 90's though, music today sucks
Michael Jackson would later swipe the idea of face morphing in 1991 on his video "Black Or White."
