Bob one day dies, the soul then wants to find something else to experience. You are the soul because it is eternal. "Bob" and any other form the soul identifies with its eternal life are all forms that will experience birth, old age, death and suffering. The goal is to stop the soul from doing this so that it will no longer experience suffering. The actions you Perform in this life, including inner emotions like hate or love, will cause certain imprints on the soul. Thats called karma. Based on that karma your soul will find another body and or another piace than earth. Maybe its a better life or worse.

I got that we are not the radio - that concept was easy for me… when I’m dead on the floor for a few minutes or hours people will eventually refer to my body as my body and not me… I suppose on some level we all in errantly ‘get’ that concept… I am getting tripped up with the broadcast and signal terminology being explained… I was thinking by broadcast Ken was referring to the words or music or sound effects that was being transmitted at the station… I am still having some difficulty parsing out … or understanding … or separating consciousness from the signal… if consciousness here is meant as the result of the correct working of the radio (physical) and the signal (spiritual) working together then maybe your explanation is correct and you helped me… I want to understand truth… I’m trying to understand and work this out.
