Actually or you're being sarcastic? 😂 I honestly think having that part in there hurt the video massively since it extended its length to 25min from 14min and not many people are willing to commit to that sort of length of a video. That part should have really been cut out or sped up to 50x and possibly edited better with maximum exposure and maybe a voice over it nothing is happening to hold the attention. Anyway I skipped it all as 95% of people probably did too. It seems to be a common theme on this channel, since it's mind boggling to me that with over 8 million subs there isn't even one long form video with over 1 Million views..
Send it again with flashlights Use a metal frame & polystyrene blocks That tunnel is incredibly Dangerous & should have a metal grate with ramp next to it at the beginning
So….uh….everyone knows that an inverted siphon is FULL of water, right? So there is no air space inside that tunnel except for the part of the inflow tunnel that is above the level of the outflow. My point is…the camera is in a tunnel completely full of water, moving at 20-30mph (or faster) - so what on earth did you expect see, lights or no lights???
Thanks for showing the world why engineers are important. Could have predicted that the lights get ripped off, the thing goes upside down, etc. or planned for it.
Ever wonder why ships/boats have boulders/rocks at the bottom of the hull? Its called ballast. It places the center of gravity on the buttom. Prevents flipping in rough waters. A small piece of cinderblock or a brick fixed to the bottom of your craft will help keep it upright.
With the amount of water pressure that is going through there there's absolutely no way it took over 11 minutes for that boat to go over through that siphon tunnel at the very beginning the first 8 minutes of all that crazy noise was the water rushing past it because it was stuck on something then when it broke free the other two or three minutes it took to pop out the other side was about how long it should have actually taken to get that boat from where you dropped it to where your friend was standing but in the end it was still pretty cool but like everyone in the comments is saying two GoPros one on top one on bottom and underwater scuba light but it was definitely caught on something for the first 8 minutes or so that's what all that crazy sound was the water rushing past the stuck boat
Get a GoPro max or a 360 camera! You will be able to look all around Also get some really bright lights and something to make it say upright. Maybe just a different boat all together.
18:20 is when the raw footage actually starts.. He really should have watched it back himself to cut out the 11min 48secs of blackness since RUclips clearly knows people are skipping through that part so it affected views, watch time and click-through rate massively since people are more likely commit to a 14min video rather than a 25min video.. 😆
I love that the first video on this channel I’ve seen was the video of you sending it down and trying to find it you guys do such good work keep it up and you just earned a subscriber thanks for your effort to make peoples day its worth it
Holy moly bro i can't believe you sent a boat with a camera down the river it's pretty cool i like it you make my favorite video like uncut footage once excellent 100/10
It’s kinda cool how the foam and kick boards kept it in the hydraulic jump portion at the mouth of the siphon before being pulled through the pipe .. you can tell due to the light for the first 25 second that it was stuck swirling around before being pulled through
I would recommend that you attach a center of gravity in the middle of your boat at the bottom of the keel! Then when it tips over it turns the right way around again!
So I think where you should do a video next is Angel Falls in Venezuela not only would it be amazing but I think it would be an amazing adventure for you to
That go pro footage looks like the footage when this guy in England put a go pro into on a poll and stuck it in “the strid” in the UK really scary video but cool. The Strid could be another video but it’s in the UK
Just found your channel bro, hella dope idea. We should collab on something, there’s hella places in Washington we could find to launch the boat from. Holla at me! 🤙🏾
There was some nasty oily sediment on the water. But cool video. I saw something black almost like a canister or something at one point. Maybe send it into the caves at mammoth caves or somewhere similar.
When it was in the main tube I saw like something flash for like 2 seconds. Don’t know what it was exactly but I think it may have been like a really light fish or something
Hi. can you do it again? but this time, can you put two cameras. one on top, and the other one is below. Just in case it flips over. Also add a light, that's tunnel is so dark that nothing can be seen. Thank you.
You need to build your boat more like the Coast guard lifeboats where the center of gravity is closer to the bottom that way if the boat capsizes it'll flip back over on its own. Take a look at that You're wasting your time with those big outrigger water bottles on the side they're just holding your boat and whatever position it flips over to.

For the next time, strap two go pros. One on top and one below just in case the boat flips. Secondly attach a flash light.
And one to the back in case the boat turns

Actually I think its quite cool that it flipped
Add food as well

That's why assembling a team for any project is important 💯
Dude its pure darkness in the hole! add a nice LED flashlight to the boat.

What tracker do you use?
Just curious if anyone else watched the video upside down after it came out of the siphon.🤨
A glacial river in the arctic circle somewhere. The ice caves hat the water flowers through is absolutely the most beautiful things you will ever see.

Too anyone wondering why it tumbles at the intake for so long, look up Drowning Machine. That's what it was caught in
Any idea on how fast it was traveling, that water looks like it's ripping.
Watching it float down the river after the tube was pretty cool, just pretend it isn’t upside down and it looks way trippy lol
OMG it does it looks like it's pointing up wards towards the sky tho it's just upside down

Dude designed it with a high likelihood of flipping over.
I think an insta 360 inside a plastic container might be better.
Is nobody gonna talk about how his whole screen blacked out for like 11 minutes ☠️
The footage in the last three minutes felt like an animated storm scene.
A small watertight acrylic sphere might work better
I'm curious, what is the purpose of this water tunnel?
To generate water
Instead of building a bridge or aqueduct to span the canyon the build this syphon. The whole thing is basically full of water with no air gap.

Send a burger king foot lettuce burger down the water hole in a container with a GoPro
You could go to Boise Idaho. The river goes miles through the city. Or Spokane Washington.
You should do it down the Mississippi river all the way from the headwaters down the Gulf of Mexico
Maybe not the season for it right now but an active bell mouth spillway would be epic!

Use a remote control submarin so you can see what under the canal.
I'm more interested as to go the water goes up at the other side. I just assumed the other side was another tube flowing into that little lake
Oh man i have been waiting for this for a while.

Next time you should buy a submarine RC and put a GoPro with Flash and some Turbo boost and drive-through that pipe

Give it an upgrade first make it a submarine and find a big cave that has big body of water
You should soup water in the bottles but don’t fill in up just enough to mimick the water line acts as air lock
Find a proper engineer to prevent it from flipping upside down.
Guys complain about that before any human or more animals fall down there 😥
Put a RC submarine on the bottom of the boat with a camera and another tracker Incase it pops loose
i think that red when it was black might be animal blood
You should modify this boat. Add some weight to the bottom and add lights
