Just a quick tip when using a camera. Have the main light source behind the camera. This way, the subject is not in a shadow where it is harder for the camera to pick up. Additionally, the background will be lit to the same degree, therefore there will not be too much contrast.

My favorite way to detect the strings tension is to put the butt-end of the handle/grip touching your left ear, hold the racket by the plastic cap above the grip with the left hand and strum the strings with your right index finger’s nail, like a guitar. The pitch it makes is your tension, remember that tone next time you have a re-stringing job.
