My first ride on the water way was from Pratunam to Asok which is close to Classic Place Hotel. Since then I often use the water way to get to Golden Mount temple. I appreciate the convenience of the water way network for the locals. Terrific drone footage. Thanks for all the wonderful posts over the year. A very happy new year 2023 to you.
Wow that was amazing to watch. As I just landed back here in canada after being in Thailand for 2 weeks, I wished I could have spent 2-3 days in Bangkok! have a great new years!!
Your video shows that BKK not just another big high rise skyscrapers city with jamming traffic...these are cleaner air and healthy green environment areas!
you have really inspired me to rent a bike when I visit! what a great way to get around and see everything. Seems easy enough to get around if I am out of the downtown area that is haha
Bangkok is called the Venice of the East, so is Venice the Bangkok of the West, always wondered about this? LOL Seriously great video Sir, Keep up the gr8 work
My first airbnb was on the 12th floor of the base park west. Absolutely quiet peaceful area of bangkok. I love it. Come during Dec 12-14 for sansiri winter fest the whole bridge is blocked off with holiday markets and vendors
As you said that Bangkok is second best place of the asia to bike. In my opinion, there are many pedestrains in Bangkok that are broken. It's difficult and inconvenint to bike on many roads especially in suburb of Bangkok they have to take time to improve it.
You forgot the link to google maps! Did you ride your bike from the Asok area? If so, what route did you take? This looks great, would love a little more info.
7:31 : You got me Jeroen….took me 10 minutes to find this. The muslim grave yard. I suppose the entire land belongs to the mosque? Very early in the morning, guess 7.00 am?
Having only very few canals in central area, you may wonder why anyone would think Bangkok resembles Venice even very remotely. Things were different 100 years ago when there were canals all over Bangkok as they were the main way people got around the city before motor vehicles arrived. Over 90% of canals have been filled in over the years. About 30 years ago, Saen Sab canal was a black, stinky, putrid mess that no one wanted to be in the vicinity if they could help it. Not at all what it looks like today.
"One-handed with your camera"? Dude, I love your videos... but you really have to get yourself a rig of some sort for your personal safety. Need to see more from your channel, so please keep safe.
Bang Kachao, also known as Pork Stomach, is an artificial island formed by the Chao Phraya River bank with Khlong Lat Pho connecting the river to the west. Bang Kachao is located in the southern part of Bangkok. in Phra Pradaeng District Samut Prakan Province Covering an area of 16 square kilometers (6.2 square miles), the island remains a sparsely populated agricultural area[1] and is sometimes referred to as Bangkok's "green lung"[2]. In 2006, Time Asia magazine, Best of Asia issue, praised Bang Ka Chao as the best urban oasis in Asia [3]. And Bang Nam Phueng Market is open during weekends. It is also the location of the Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden. An area of approximately 200 acres and a Thai betta fish museum [5]
@@globaltravelmate The best location near bangkok central for a big house with a big land, because Bangkok had a lack of clean water, green, good air quality and quiet.
Love the khlong vids. Top-notch video production quality. Ice-cream man, hmmm that could be a future career :O)
Thanks Jeroen. Always good seeing you on your bicycle exploring your favorite khlongs. It's been awhile since you posted one of these!
There are a newly opened pier on the Chao Praya river, Rajinee pier and Bang Pho pier. They could be an interesting places for you to visit.

Ang ganda sa Thailand. Ang linis. Walang squammy.

Cool video and great drone coverage. What were the little colored chalk arrows on the walk way for? (About 11:25 to 11:45)
Yet another great video! Thanks for the inspiration!!
When I come with my daughter, definitely on the agenda. Bike rental somewhere around?
Hi,
Where can we rent a bike? This looks fun.
How long is from point to point? Where does it lead to.....
Where’s the map link.?,,,, great video
Very nice! I'd love to try this cycle route. I can't seem to find your link to Google Maps on accessing and travelling the route.
The links are in now :-)
@@globaltravelmate Thank you so much! :)

I drove Sukhumvit to soi 71, there cross through T77 into Soi 77. After that turn left at On Nut 25

Very early in the morning, guess 7.00 am?
If Bangkok is the 2nd best biking City in Asia, what is the top on the list?
Hey.
