I've contacted with tp-link support, they confirmed me that both A6 and C6 models are identical, with the difference between them only being their sales channels. The range of this router is great enough for a flat that is around 12 to 1600 sq. feet in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. But for larger homes, you may consider getting a range extender if you want over 100 mbps speed.
