Looks like a different mouse trap! BTW the 380 DSD DAC also had a volume control (variable) so not sure what Pete the Greek is saying there about this being the first of its kind dac to have volume control
Proceeds to see how cool the amp runs when it’s not even switched on. Would have liked to have known a bit more how this bests the 791 rather than a discussion on the led. Looks to be great kit if you can afford it.
Wow, I was getting excited about these until I saw the prrices are near 50,000$ for the 861 and 891. Gotta walk away from this hahahaha. 25k and 22k, was lucky enough to pay off my 34k Infinity car /chuckle Thanks for the share, good to see ya Scotty G! Peace *thumbsup*
Horrible preamp design. Which genius thought a mobile phone screen 20 feet away on a preamp was a good idea? Building a mobile application would have made manufacturing cheaper and provided a more modern, better user experience. Is all engineering designed by the same genius? LMAO
Really sharp looking gear.
And it sounds even sharper, believe it or not. Some real powerhouse pieces here. Thanks for watching!

😹so many acronyms, it’s as if they are trying to make it sound like this is soooooo high end!
Lots of acronyms in HiFi!

Maybe you should apply for an engineering position at Simaudio and wow them with your impressive design skills.
