EXAR so far edges just a little bit, pretty much what we have mentioned in the video. TPU is thicker and they actually reinforce the bond/seal between the valve and the TPU itself. RideNow is still a good TPU tube. Can't go wrong with either choice tbh.
@@geeeforce Captive spokes meaning should a spoke(s) break the other spokes de-tension but can't just fall or pop out of the hub. Captive design retains the spokes in the hub so that the chance of complete wheel collapse is reduced or eliminated. I think, WINSPACE early designs weren't captive, but they have since changed the design to fix this issue.
@@geeeforce This has been something to look out for since the advent of straight pull spokes, the design of J-bend spokes of course makes this a non-issue.
@@larrymcgoldrick3471 so it seems winspace is the way to go then? Any thoughts on reliability and long term performance of their st01 spokes and ceramic hubs?
That will improve the ride and increase the speed for sure...
Let us know how it went.
Thanks for sharing
Boss must put rim tape for tube .
So these wheels would turn a 28c tire width to 30mm? What about the height/profile of this sane tire? Is it popping 30mm as well?
Hi how much you build this bike ?
No spare spokes in the packaging???
Yeah sadly no spare spokes in the packaging. We realize more and more company does not provide spare spokes anymore.
@@WiserBikerare these available to buy from Magene?
nice video. What is the warranty? and how did it feel when cycling with it outside? in crosswinds?
Great review. Are they internal or external lock ring for the rotors?
Since it’s DT Swiss hub.
If one had to chose the Exar vs RideNow TPU tubes, which one is better and why?

No thanks... The spokes are not captive in the hub, which is a safety issue that could lead to catastrophic wheel collapse should a spoke break.
Captive meaning? Are they the same design as winspace
