That helps SO MUCH and I always struggled with seeing which one you were talking about quick enough in the past. In general, thank you for your videos. they always inspire me, not because I like the styles necessarily but by the way you talk about fashion. And it often calms my anxiety to listen to your videos! I'm happy to see the bright colors. I look best in what they call the "bright winter" color palette, so I pull off those bright fuchsia and cobalt blue colors very well. I still would not wear it head to toe, but I'll be keeping my eye out for some bright cool tones to add to my wardrobe and I'm happy that they should be easier to find this season. I think I'm tired of seeing nothing but neutral everything everywhere. :)

    Merci, Justine! I love that you mention timing with regard to world & climate events at the end of this video, because as you say, it does indeed influence what we're seeing. What a world we're living in. I like most of these trends this time, especially the belts & low-heeled boots. Even as a kid, I've tended toward monochrome looks (not exclusively, of course), so the monochrome trend also works for me. I don't have a full fuschia outfit, but I do have an intense fuschia mohair jacket in the back of my closet. Maybe it's time to let her out again!

    I was a teenager in the 1980's. So that might explain why I liked all of the bright colors, purples, pinks, lavenders in the Fall/ Winter fashions. In fact, one of my favorite dresses in my wardrobe now is a bright pink. Yep, it does stand out in a crowd, but that is probably why I like it.

    • @pjalexandra
      @pjalexandra 2 года назад +7

      Being a teenager in the 80s is the exact reason I do not like those colours, LOL. First sweat suit I made for myself in sewing class was hot hot pink. its funny what strikes us as nostalgic in a positive way. for me it's the rich autumn earthy-tones. so it's nice there's lots of options.

    Stella McCartney is my favorite designer this season, I think her looks are very vivacious, very needed after the grey, grueling years of 2020-onward. They feel like optimism in a world that has become quite melancholic, and in these times I think color makes a great statement about hope.
    My favorite trend is the colors matched with the more subdued earthy ones. Very balanced.

    I think the bohemian and the monocromatic look, the first one because I like hippie-ish style for relaxed days and the monocrome because it elongates the silouette really pretty.

    Monochromatic and walking boots are my favourites. Timeless, effortless and stylish.

    I have always been a fan of fuchsia, and purple, and red. I look forward to finding some new gloves to brighten up my dreary winter. Thanks Justine, as always.

    Definitely feeling bright colors, even though it was never my thing. Thanks for the video!

    Thank you. Simple. Easy to
    Apply and summarized nicely with multiple examples. I like color. Always will. Belts are nice and even if you aren’t thin, they can be used strategically to create a waist.

    Thanks, Justine. I love Stella McCartney, her designs are always simple and elegant, with beautiful lines. And that gentle violet is beautiful. I also love the Alaia look. That blazer, wow! Wish I could afford it. As an over-60 person, I find bright colors more appealing now than I used to. I stopped coloring my hair before the pandemic, and would prefer not to start again, so I’m looking for colors that work with my dark-gray long hair that has streaks of lighter gray. I used to be more about earth tones, but now I’m returning to blacks and grays, and adding more vibrant reds, some pinks, turquoise, and also certain shades of violet. Fun! Thanks again.

    Earthy trend looks so comfy and complement my skin tone well. One of the sweaters in the example looks very similar to one I already own so no extra buying!

    Thank you for your videos and information which help us to understand fashion. I live in Germany and in city where I live it’s difficult to find cloths with colors, almost everything is dark and not attractive. For nice and colorful peaces i have to go for holidays in France, Italy or Spain .

    I knew if I held onto my neon fuschia it would come back, lol. My favorite trend though are the earthy knits. Great video!

    Love the boho trend and the idea of color in accents - also the floral lacy skirt with the minimalist sweater top - that’s a look I already have 👍🏼🤗 Thanks for helping guide us through the fashion wilderness.

    I appreciate that you now light up the look you're talking about out of the list, I'd struggle before trying to read the font on the side to figure out which look you're talking about. 😄 thank you!👍🏻
