A big thank you for highlighting the designs as you spoke about them! Made it so much easier to follow. Earth tones, tone on tone and walking boots are my favourites!
Fuchsia! I’ve been wearing pink and fuchsia a lot for the past months - well that’s the benefit of working from home! Monocromatic pink is my new colour :-)
You're the only person I can listen talking about fashion. You go back to the essence of trends and the human part of fashion that includes us all. It's amazing to get to see a new video from you, thank you . I'm learning a lot ❤️
Omg same!! I usually find myself avoiding most fashion-related videos (for some reason), but Justine became a big exception. I love how she talks about it as an art form, but also from a practical standpoint. 💕
Thank you for making the photo/outfit you talk about stand out more by making the others a little darker. That helps SO MUCH and I always struggled with seeing which one you were talking about quick enough in the past. In general, thank you for your videos. they always inspire me, not because I like the styles necessarily but by the way you talk about fashion. And it often calms my anxiety to listen to your videos! (Sorry if any of this was written in a confusing way, english is a second language for me) Lots of love!!
My favourite part of these videos is always "Hi everyone, it's Justine." I just feel like I'm having a catch-up with my friendly neighbourhood Justine.
Amen to this. Winter in my part of the world means lots of snow and ice, so boots that aren't sky-high heels are a necessity. I really appreciated that these were more practical and can't wait to see more boots like this available in stores.
@@megeles Queen Elizabeth was petite and needed to be seen by anyone in the crowd of her various events. This is why she chose to go monochromatic in bright colors. Also, what she wore was often (usually?) fashion as diplomacy.
As someone with joint issues, I'm absolutely THRILLED to see those boots back in fashion! I love high heels, but I have been forced to admit that I can no longer walk in them (maaaaaaybe could make it from the front door to a chair in the theatre, but I'd be wobbly). So, yay at the idea of being able to find amazing boots that I can actually wear!!
I LOVE trend of wearable boots! Something you can wear all day and walk around in and not get cold or wet and still look stylish! And belts too! I'm huge fan of fitted waist and unique, often corset-like, belts! Woohoo! Thank you for beautiful analysis!
I'm happy to see the bright colors. I look best in what they call the "bright winter" color palette, so I pull off those bright fuchsia and cobalt blue colors very well. I still would not wear it head to toe, but I'll be keeping my eye out for some bright cool tones to add to my wardrobe and I'm happy that they should be easier to find this season. I think I'm tired of seeing nothing but neutral everything everywhere. :)
pretty 90s. i love everything. the minimal 90s look, the boots and the monochromatic look, it is already what i wear. i even love the bright color in the accesories and the weird lila skirt paired with the light camen brown sweater, it looks fantastic and wearable.
It is very sophisticated the way you analyze the trends. I love the belt. It adds a great statement to every outfit. If artists and music trend boards were on such a deep level, it would be great 💕
Merci, Justine! I love that you mention timing with regard to world & climate events at the end of this video, because as you say, it does indeed influence what we're seeing. What a world we're living in. I like most of these trends this time, especially the belts & low-heeled boots. Even as a kid, I've tended toward monochrome looks (not exclusively, of course), so the monochrome trend also works for me. I don't have a full fuschia outfit, but I do have an intense fuschia mohair jacket in the back of my closet. Maybe it's time to let her out again!
I was a teenager in the 1980's. So that might explain why I liked all of the bright colors, purples, pinks, lavenders in the Fall/ Winter fashions. In fact, one of my favorite dresses in my wardrobe now is a bright pink. Yep, it does stand out in a crowd, but that is probably why I like it.
Being a teenager in the 80s is the exact reason I do not like those colours, LOL. First sweat suit I made for myself in sewing class was hot hot pink. its funny what strikes us as nostalgic in a positive way. for me it's the rich autumn earthy-tones. so it's nice there's lots of options.
I'm a 90's kid, but I'm right there with you on the bright colors. I found a bright orange dress at the thrift store that I'm very excited to style this fall/winter!
@@jenniferjen5422 agreed! even 25 years ago, they hadn't off-shored everything in Canada, and the quality was still pretty good. My mom's Sears stuff from 70's still going strong.
Thank you for reminding me that many of these pieces are relating to the virtual world as much as the physical! I often overlook the fact that digital images can be as artistic as any painting.
I love the earthy trend, very 70s-ish, which I was thinking after the craziness of fashion in the last decade and especially after the pandemic fashion would go back to that kinda chill loose laid back style lol😊
oh at last my flat black 'men's boots - the combat style - are in fashion hooray!!!! Love that kind of oxblood black colour too - Thank you for this :D
I like the bohemian Chloé outfit. Love the warm, rich tones of the top paired with texturally contrasting black leather skirt. The bold accessories really complement the look. It is perfectly my style. Thanks for presenting these trends, Justine.

I have been watching your fashion trend videos since 2019 and just noticed this: Your handwriting can easily become a brands font style 😍!! Oh, thanks for highlighting the photo that you’re talking about, makes it a bit easier to follow 😊

I love tuning in for the latest in fashion that reinforces the viewpoint that everything that is old is new again. I love the preppy minimalist look and boots, boots, boots! Also the use of lavender. For me it is almost a neutral. I am a mature woman who has seen decades of fashion and this season feels very comfortable to me. Thank you Justine. You are always a pleasure to listen to and I enjoy your insight into the world of fashion.
I live in Scotland in the countryside so I will be wearing Tweed, corduroy and wool as usual with rain and snow wear. I may by a bright bag or scarf but that's it. It has ti be practical first. Lovely video though
The fitted waist and minimalist preppy designs are probably the easiest to do without buying new stuff (and it would be very easy to accomplish with select vintage purchases). A monochromatic look that is NOT a neon color is also very easy. I already know I'm going to embrace all of my black sweaters and pants and enjoy feeling and looking like a modern Wednesday Addams!
I am really happy accentuated belts are coming back. I am so tired of seeing head-to-toe baggy, oversized looks and worse: matching two piece fleece clothes on the streets, it is good to see something "put together" now 😄
Me too, I hated that trend, nothing feminine about it! I was determined to never wear anything baggy during those couple of years! And, yeah, I survived! Belts are back, waist is back! ❤
Looove highlighting the waist, the monochromatic preppy look and the boots! I'm doing all of that frequently anyway ❤️ The bohemian earthy colours are pretty as well but sadly don't work for me since I have cool-toned skin.

for Autumn, always earth tones inspired by season + boots to walk + belts to close the gaps, so those are a natural for me in a mountain climate. the neon colours look full stop ridiculous on me, but I love how you contextualize such trends to world events and social mood
I think the bohemian and the monocromatic look, the first one because I like hippie-ish style for relaxed days and the monocrome because it elongates the silouette really pretty.
I have always been a fan of fuchsia, and purple, and red. I look forward to finding some new gloves to brighten up my dreary winter. Thanks Justine, as always.

Thanks, Justine. I love Stella McCartney, her designs are always simple and elegant, with beautiful lines. And that gentle violet is beautiful. I also love the Alaia look. That blazer, wow! Wish I could afford it. As an over-60 person, I find bright colors more appealing now than I used to.
