So glad you are safe and though the cleanup will take awhile and not easy at our age it could have been much worse. I’m not able at my age to bend and pick things up, rake, etc like I used to so I know what you mean, a lot of work for sure. Love and blessings from Debby in upstate New York

Well, I’m glad you didn’t have a river in your basement. Btw, the shelf with the red star, I have the exact same one on my deck. It’s lasting many years.

Sending you a hug! I hate storm messes, you can't hide from it. Do you have a leaf blower? I would let it dry up a little and then get the blower out. So glad you guys are safe Jean. So sorry about the mess.
@@pummillsvintiquities Thanks so much Michelle. Yes we blow what we can but we have so many plants that a lot has to be raked. We’re taking our time in the cleaning. Love and blessings 🧡💛🧡
Please Please take your time cleaning this up ! Hopefully all the squirrels will take advantage of all those acorns .
I volunteer at a sea turtle rescue and rehab center . When l went in on Fri to work ( it’s only my second time ) l learned that the turtles actually get stressed bf the storm and they don’t really eat . The poor babies . By Fri we had 42 hatchlings brought in from the beach . They will get a boat to take them out to the area where the babies live for several years as they mature , when the waters are safe .
People came in to visit the center on Fri bc they were concerned about the nests that were destroyed on the beaches. Another fun fact .. sea turtles drop eggs several times during the nesting season .
I can’t believe how lucky so many of us were … it was scary for sure .
BTW how was Baby Boy during the storm ?
Love & Blessings 🥰
@@d.l.n.7133 Thanks so much Deb. We will take our time for sure. I didn’t know that about the turtles. Poor little things. So glad y’all were okay. It’s been just so sad the lives lost and the devastation in so many places. Love and blessings 🧡💛🧡
Are you near Erwin? We live just north of Chattanooga and really cannot believe the storms that have come through Tenn. and N.C. So much death and damage. On another note. I just found your page through Pummel's Vintiquities . I love your Luna dishes. I looked them up and they are apparently discontinued. Love Joanna Parker's stuff. Take care and don't overdo.
@@carolsledgewalker6903 Thank you so much Carol. We live in Roanoke, Va. . Our town had some places that had some flooding , trees down but nothing major like so many other places. So glad you came over from Michelle’s channel. She’s wonderful. We’ve collected Johanna Parker for years and the Luna pieces are favorites. I hate that Magenta and Johanna Parker are no longer working together. I hope she finds someone else to produce her pieces. . John and I are taking our time in the cleanup. Love and blessings 🧡💛🧡
