I mix 1.25 cups of bleach in with a 5 gallon jug I also use for winterizing (54 gallon tank). I run several gallons of water in the tank first, then run the mix in and then top the tank off with water. I run all my faucets. I then top the tank back off with water and let it set 24 hrs. You want the entire tank full of sanitizer. Then just drain off the tank, fill with clean, and flush all lines. Then burn that ugly ass Michigan blanket! Sterilization complete! I should also add that I've dumped the whole tank in the yard and never killed the grass.

Well said, Wow It had a strong smell with 1/2 cup , I cant imagine 1.25 cups. but hey ill do that next time. Go Blue! lol. I promise if Michigan ever plays Notre Dame Ill be there.

@@TSquadRVing the difference is I fill my tank completely up. You want the tank full. After I run it through the lines and then top the tank back off it's no stronger than your mix. I've not used the camco product afterwards. I have no bleach odor when complete.
