I love that both IU and V clearly make music that they want to make, regardless of convention... Difference is, IU has been doing that for ages at this point, with many of her most famous songs where she not only writes the lyrics (most all of her songs) but even composes them (like Palette, Blueming, others). She's also been the producer for her music and MVs since 2015...all the while also being an award-winning actress. She's truly a unicorn, and I love to also see her support of V by casting him in this MV and letting the world see how talented an actor he is. The Cube represents society, it is chasing every individual who doesn't fit the standards of society. Here V is half blind, IU is deaf and mute. So they are running from the oppression of society. The world is controlled by these standards of perfection to the point that people in South Korea put masks on when they don't have make-up or when they feel insecure or they wear hats when their hair is messy. The MV is a dystopian view of our society. While they are trying to hide in this abandoned place filled with the clothes of people who died because of this oppression, they find a camera that allows them to have an illusion of what their lives could be if they were "normal" by society's standards, it starts with their looks, they could see how they would have looked like, then what they would eat, then they start to feel the illusion a bit too much to the point they beautifully imagine that IU could sing and V could sing as well and she could listen to his voice, they could marry each other and just have fun and eat whatever they want because they wouldn't have to care about society or any other kind of oppression. However, as soon as they feel a little bit of comfort and try to live their life, the Cube (society) finds them again and pushes them to retreat and flee again, but the Cube managed to find them again, they try to survive against it and try to fight it as hard as they can, but they cannot beat a stronger system, they just give up but at least they stayed together until the end. I'm now listening to love wins all again and as soon as it started I had tears in my eyes it's so emotional qnd that wqt I love also like I said before these two need to act in a kdrama with a similar concept to the mv. Such a beautiful and emotional video featuring amazing acting and vocals that makes the experience so personal. I really do hope that Tae & IU do other projects together both film and music as they have great chemistry and when he was on her show their voices also blended so well. Also at the end it was pointed out by someone that he can hear what is coming but she can't, while she can see what is coming but she covers his good eye so he can't. Both cry at the same moment though and from the same left eye. Also the right side of his face seems to have burn scars so maybe he had encountered a cube before but got away at the last minute. This cube was relentless in its pursuit and even seemed to change size so it could come into the building. Earlier when it was flying overhead you could tell no way it could fit inside those hallways. I also noticed the cube waits for them to stop fighting and accept their fate. If you notice there are no other people so obviously no person is able to meet the criteria this cube holds that would allow someone to survive. The camcorder that kept showing a better reality, was giving us the viewer a happier version of the events. They both rise in the air together, their bodies still solid, while the reality is that they have been turned to ash. At the top of the camcorder right before it turns off you see ash particles in the air. I also loved how the clothes landed together on the pile. Again all of this symbolizing that even though they seemingly lost to the cube, it couldn't destroy their love for each other. They stayed together in life and death, so indeed their love did win. I can't get enough of this MV, the acting is Oscar level and combined with the award worthy vocals and lyrics it's both heartbreaking but also heartwarming that at least they went together.

this is the first time I've watched the music video. it gave me chills, it felt like it was referring to the life of a celebrity, how they could only enjoy their dating life through each other's eyes. the cube looks like a pixel, cyberbullying which often targets celebrities who out their relationship in public. the talent IU and V have is just insane. they filmed this entire video and recorded the vocals all in a week. in the video IU is deaf and V is blind in his right eye. the acting they both did in this video is just insane. this should be made into a k-drama 100%. believe it or not IU was extremely sick with the flu when she recorded this song in the studio. she refused to stop because it needed to be finished before V had to report for his military service. there is a video of her and what she went thru during the recording. how she pulled it off and how amazing her vocals sounded truly shows how amazing she is. this is one of the best MV's i have ever seen. the storyline, the concept, the metaphors and the way they portrayed it, how they built their characters in a 5 minute video is just insane.

Such a beautiful and emotional video featuring amazing acting and vocals that makes the experience so personal. I really do hope that Tae & IU do other projects together both film and music as they have great chemistry and when he was on her show their voices also blended so well. Also at the end it was pointed out by someone that he can hear what is coming but she can't, while she can see what is coming but she covers his good eye so he can't. Both cry at the same moment though and from the same left eye. Also the right side of his face seems to have burn scars so maybe he had encountered a cube before but got away at the last minute. This cube was relentless in its pursuit and even seemed to change size so it could come into the building. Earlier when it was flying overhead you could tell no way it could fit inside those hallways. I also noticed the cube waits for them to stop fighting and accept their fate. If you notice there are no other people so obviously no person is able to meet the criteria this cube holds that would allow someone to survive. The camcorder that kept showing a better reality, was giving us the viewer a happier version of the events. They both rise in the air together, their bodies still solid, while the reality is that they have been turned to ash. At the top of the camcorder right before it turns off you see ash particles in the air. I also loved how the clothes landed together on the pile. Again all of this symbolizing that even though they seemingly lost to the cube, it couldn't destroy their love for each other. They stayed together in life and death, so indeed their love did win. I can't get enough of this MV, the acting is Oscar level and combined with the award worthy vocals and lyrics it's both heartbreaking but also heartwarming that at least they went together.
This isn't the first time V's 💜. His debut was in 2016 in the drama "HWARANG" And he did it excellent, taking excellent reviews✨

IU is a huge artist and actresses! She's been around since 2008 and is called "Korea's little sister"! As a soloist, she sells our stadiums most groups cant. Her voice is absolutely beautiful! She's also an excellent actress, and has been a main character in several dramas. V also has acting experience in one drama, but hopefully we'll get to see him as a main character some day.
Both IU and V are actors. IU has done several K dramas. V was in Hwarang in his early days of his being in BTS. Both are outstanding in both singing and acting.

this is the first time I've watched the music video. it gave me chills, it felt like it was referring to the life of a celebrity, how they could only enjoy their dating life through each other's eyes. the cube looks like a pixel, cyberbullying which often targets celebrities who out their relationship in public. The piled clothes take me back to Spring Day wherein it symbolises victims. Some are saying it's a tribute to disabled people, IU being deaf and V being blind

the talent IU and V have is just insane. they filmed this entire video and recorded the vocals all in a week. in the video IU is deaf and V is blind in his right eye. the acting they both did in this video is just insane. this should be made into a k-drama 100%. believe it or not IU was extremely sick with the flu when she recorded this song in the studio. she refused to stop because it needed to be finished before V had to report for his military service. there is a video of her and what she went thru during the recording. how she pulled it off and how amazing her vocals sounded truly shows how amazing she is. this is one of the best MV's i have ever seen. the storyline, the concept, the metaphors and the way they portrayed it, how they built their characters in a 5 minute video is just insane.
