The full transparency of the Taskbar should be available in the Settings menu. I sucks using third party software to make the Taskbar fully transparent.
For everyone asking why it may not be working as of april 2023, there was a windows update that has changed the way the app works so its not completely clear anymore. That's all I really know about it so just letting everyone know not to blame this guy
Been using this for quite a while, even with windows 10. Only issue I have is the faint line that still remains along the top of the bar. If you don't look for it, it's fine. Other settings don't seem to work right, other than transparent.
@@dawsn6 If you don't look for the line, you won't see it. I still use transparent TB and it seems to work fine now, even in windows 11. I stick with subdued background desktop images so again, the line doesn't show.
Thank you. This helps avoiding image retention on my OLED display because even turning on "automatically hide" option doesn't completely hide the taskbar (there is still 1 pixel line)
THANK YOU, i've been looking for a simple and free application for a see thru taskbar and this one worked instantly without any fumbeling around. again thank you
Look closely at the bottom, there's an "outline" that hasn't been patched in W11. I left a review in the Windows Store, but I don't think the creator has seen it. Unfortunate, as it kinda bugs me... Great software nonetheless!
This is a very nice app. I always wanted my taskbar to be totally black and this software allows me to do that. The totally black taskbar goes well with my night mode black theme. As I always use black or dark wallpaper this app allows it to look seamless. Just use the opaque option
Ok so if people think this is fake it isn't what you do is once you download it. it automaticly applies it. I know he said but some people might not belive him since its only 1 person saying it! but its real
Yes I think I came across this app when I was using Windows 7 and I like mine completely transparent as for making it blurred slightly I use wallpapers that let you see the icons well enough anyway but each to his own I suppose.
Thank you!! Can you do a video Windows 11 to set up multiple desktop screens? I would like to have 4 or 5 desktops (private, business, video editing, music, photo editing), in which each desktop will have its own icons and programms
I fast-forwarded it just to see the name of the app, and this is everything one needs to know really. I'm not sure why it requires a nearly 6 minutes video. The app works, although it's far from seamless - the taskbar often blinks, switching between opaque and transparent again. (I've tried it on two laptops with the same outcome; both running W11) I have no proof, but intuitionally I suspect it doesn't really make the taskbar translucent, it just takes the bottom stripe of the wallpaper and sets it as taskbar's background. The final effect is kind of the same, but the nature of the trick causes some hiccup and lagging (eg. when the wallpaper changes, if you have it set as a slideshow). Don't quote me on that though
To keep your viewers informed: AMD and Microsoft have announced the release of two new updates that will solve the problems of RYZEN CPUs running Windows 11 platforms The first patch comes from AMD in the form of a chipset driver that fixes the UEFI CPPC2 driver that's responsible for steering threads to the correct cores The second patch, which Microsoft has released as the 22000.282 (KB5006746) Windows 11 update, fixes an L3 cache error that impacts latency and bandwidth. Have a nice day!
Mine is like this but not blurred its clear 3:24 Im using a unsupported hardware so i think the transparency effects is not working and i edited the registry to force effects now the task bar and some things is clear i can see clearly the wallpaper
you would think microsoft will allow for this type of customizing with their built in settings. seems like such a simple task to add this functionality to the task bar settings (without having to use a separate app). unfortunately, at least for me, it doesn't seem to work at all anymore due to some updates made on Windows 11. it just stays opaque now no matter what option i select. maybe itll be updated at some point.
Hi , I found also difficult to put things to the taskbar., such as some of my custom .bat files. Appreciate there still be soon a short video on that. Thank you!
is there a similar program, but instead of taskbar, it's for an open window. the idea for this is to remove the blur effect so that a windowblinds (stardock) skins with transparency aren't hindered by the frost, and instead get a cleaner transparency. so far this works well for the taskbar. the blur that's behind the default taskbar is gone, so now my glass taskbar is truly glass-like. (using aero frost)
quick and easy video, drop us a LIKE 👍
I agree
@Roc this
if thats the agreement, its the like you've earned

it looks horrible when you open a fullscreen app
@@FelipeJGPLyou could have worded that better but if its a setting at least theres a choice to be made.

It does what its supposed to do
also happens with rainmeter
@@Britec09 Yes, though this bug didn't exist in W10, it's a shame it hasn't been patched yet that's all :)
Oh yes finally i can see the full glory of my wallpaper thanks to this video.
The program doesn't work for me. The taskbar stays the same and nothing I do makes it transparent. What do I do?
doesn`t work for me
I'm on windows 11 and this app did absolutely nothing, didn't change anything at all. Fresh install as well.
doesnt work in win 11 22h2. im sure you already knew this. thanks for all the tutorials
Youre a lifesaver for OLED Windows 11 users. Thanks.
clear and acrylic dont work for me anymore it just stays as a solid colour
What a really great video. Btw, can you give us the RGBA or HSVA color that you put on your taskbar at 4:57 ? I would appreciate it a lot.
It seems it does not work anymore :/
Doesn't work at all for me. I put it on transparent or acrylic & my taskbar stays the same as before I installed app.
Good Video!
That doesn't happen with mine. For some reason it still stays the same whether or not I turn on or off transparency on personalization
