Try making a super long rope, one end attached to a wheel to turn, the other end attached to the build. It will never fall and you will have a easy turning mechanism.
@jessetc I found a way to use a harpoon to destroy any unanchored part, build, or player you may think you've seen this before, but I found a way to save and load this death harpoon, and have it still be functional with no additional effort
