We, who can,t go perhaps to this historical place, walk with you together, enjoying step by step the path towards the citadella surranded mountins. The ancient time, Aischylos, dramas fills the air . And of course Schliemann,s heroic work comes to my mind.... Thank you very much it is really a very good video!
We're so happy you enjoyed the video and walking through the ancient site of Mycenae with us. That is exactly what we intended with these video tours - to take fellow history-lovers who can't visit the sites on a walk through the ruins so that they can see it up close. Thank you for watching.
Saw your link on the FB group page, thanks a lot for sharing. Costs a lot to get to these places from New Zealand and i'll probably never get to go, so seeing these type of videos is really cool!
So glad you enjoyed the video! That was indeed one of our goals with these video tours - to give history-lovers who cannot get to the sites the chance to see them up close anyway. More videos to come!
I'd love it if you could do videos on Mycenean citadels such as Kadmeia, Pylos, Dendra etc. I've been obsessed with Mycenean Bronze Age history since age 3. Also Alexander the Great's trail in Makedonia. I plan on visiting Hellas again soon.@@eaglesanddragonspublishing

Cheers, Ben! Mycenae is definitely a magnificent site! :)
I was there back in August 1990. I still remember.
It's hard to forget Mycenae...very haunting.
Was there in 2012. Unforgettable! Must see before you die.
We absolutely agree!

You're very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
So, how old is this? Three and a half thousand? Incredible size. It's huge. The amount of labour and logistics involved!
I was there last month - awesome
Agreed. It's an amazing place!
Excellent! I was there in 1984 aged 13, but I don't remember most places you showed. So I need to visit again.
Thank you, Tay! Glad you enjoyed it and that you want to go back! More videos to come!

@@taybak8446 Sounds like an epic plan, Tay! Those are all places we would love to visit as well, and when we do, we'll have the cameras ready!
Amazing
Is the Cyclopian wall original or has it been rebuilt in more recent times?
