I never seen in my Life such a unique and special incredible stunning talent with awesome unique voice 😮 and I am 67 years young and a music expert for 50 years all genres and styles Angelina is for me the best female singer artist vocalist and songwriter in this time world 🌍and Generation!!! She is a miracle 💫a phenomenon something unprecedented unbelievable but true!!!! I listening and following Angelina since 2 years ago since Norways go talent show wo she has won with 8 years!!! Her voice has a unique quality which is mostly referred to as a warm blanket. It is as if a completely sincere mother tells het child to come in her arms and she comforts it, telling it everything is safe and okay! Especially with her lower and whispery tones! And this is a song that really shows it! In spite of performing in such stressful conditions. Such a huge audience, a well known jury and millions of people watching it at home! The calmness and confidence at that age is simply astonishing! There are many reasons for getting watery eyes. Maybe we all need a voice that is saying everything is safe and okay, every once in a while!
The members of Queen loved this so much that they gave Angelina the copyrights to this version and they posted on their page with "WOW". That little girl is her sister Juliette and her mom, grandma and uncle Mark.
Duane, you just witnessed a MASTERPIECE performance which will never be forgotten. Duane, there is no doubt whatsoever vocally and artistically she is as you aptly said, a true artist. She is a pleasure to listen to but for you and that little girl (her sister!) and all of us around the world who have discovered her there is much more going on, isn't there? Her soulfulness is reflected in the sound of her voice in the form of pure love and and it touches our hearts and our hearts cannot resist. Our hearts literally take over our bodies and we get goosebumps, start to tear up (with the urge to cry) and even find it difficult to speak during or right after she sings 'for us'. Our heads take a backseat while it tries to figure out what just happened! Part of her mystique (if we can call it that) is 'who she is'. She is a wonderful humble, kind, caring and loving human being and it rubs off on us and we become more loving than we have ever been before in our lives.
Duane, she's in your heart and her love will never leave you. And you have the opportunity to introduce her to many listeners and that should make you feel terrific. Why? Because you know what will happen to them, don't you?
Duane, the first 20 times, I also had tears in my eyes. Today at least after 150 times witnessing this song , I still have a bit of goosebumps.
She didn't win this competition BUT, she WON the attention of many record companies...all of them clambering for her attention and signature on contract!!! And after careful consideration and vetting by her Uncle, Mom, she signed w/Republic...and they have VERY carefully worked with her to bring her along properly; they understand the genius they have, and are allowing her to grow into the mainstream. Her Grandma Meri, (first one standing to clap at the end of this performance) also actively participates; you'll see her in some videos, and her credit for producing videos as well. And Lil Sis (who crossed her fingers before Angelina started her performance, and had her tears wiped away by Mom after the performance). Angelina has a SOLID foundation and DEEP love and respect for her Family. Now 17 yrs old, she's graduated from school, has released her 1st album w/Republic, planning a world tour, the gate is opening is being orchestrated very carefully. She won't become "Flavor the music world Month" until she's tossed out like yesterday's newspaper when they're done with her. I believe her talent goes WAAAY beyond any one can imagine at this time, because she's miles ahead of the curve. CRY all you want, we all do!!!!! It's part of being an Angel, they're tears of love, joy and pride! PEACE!! As always, great reaction!
Duane, thanks for reacting to my all time favorite performance of my 64 years. Given Angelina's age, and the huge stage she sang it on, puts this on a level that is inconceivable. Queen loved it so much they posted a link to it on their Twitter. The little girl crying in the audience is Angelina's little sister, Juliette and sitting next to her was uncle Michael (Angelina's manager) and her mother, Sara and next to her, her grandmother, Mery Zamani who is Angelina's everything and mentor.
You're so right, Duane. Angelina's voice really does pack an emotional wallop; like you said, it just irresistibly hits you in the feels. And she does it all the time, not just here and there. Nobody like Angelina. Thanks for the reaction, Duane.

Thanks for another great reaction to & appreciation of another masterful performance by Angelina - this time reinterpreting the well known iconic Queen song. And you're definitely correct in acknowledging that Angelina has a very special ability. She is able to not only allow us to hear her beautiful singing, but also to let us deeply FEEL her singing as well as it flows through her. While this particular video clip didn't show it, Angelina did receive the golden buzzer from Heidi Klune. They became good friends - & still are. In fact - quite recently Heidi selected Angelina (now 17) to perform on GNTM (Germany's Next Top Model). Angelina delivered an incredible performance of the Amy WInehouse classic "Valerie". Im not going to write a whole essay here but this was given to Angelina by an Norwegian Artist named Baby Fuzz. She recorded the song. But she didn't released it for some reason. There are rumors that her mother didn't like that there was suicidal lyrics at the end of the song.. There been alot of talk around this song..
So since she did release the song and Baby Fuzz didn't hear back from Angelina then he Recorded and published the song himself. Im not sure if baby fuzz's version or Angelina's version got posted first but both videos got posted within about 2 months (Around there. i cant remember exactly)
Some have compared the songs and some dont even know about the Baby Fuzz version but Angelina's version smokes Baby Fuzz's version in views and likes.

Angelina did not win. A.J. came in 6th. Many of us believe she didn't win because Angelina and her team told AGT that she Would Not sign a contract with them if she won. She did however get the Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum. She also received praise from the remaining members of Queen. They reposted the performance on their social media with the quote ( Wow , what a rendition ) and gave her permission to copywrite her version of the song!

Angelina did not win this competition and she was not even meant to win from the let-go. She took part in AGT as she said "to impress Simon" and to get recognition in the US music scene where she recently moved at age 12. Since 2014, many record companies tried to seal a deal with her, including Disney, but her parents were totally against it. They wanted her to have as normal a childhood as any other kid her age. After or Before this audition, Simon tried to get her "under his wing", but she refused (one of the reasons she didn't win probably). One point of confusion for many reactors: Angelina said she was 13 at the time of the audition, and that is true. The show was recorded 3 or 4 months before it was aired on Jan 6,2020. She was born January 10, 2006.
Yes it was recorded in late Sept/early Oct 2019, over a few days. But Angelina was still 13 when this audition was broadcast on January 6th 2020. 🙂 Of course the fact she didn't win was known among us fans from mid October 2019 because the news "leaked"..

From left to right Her uncle and manager Michael Astar, her little sister Juliette, her mother Sarah Astar and her grandmother Mery Zamani. Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts. Later her mother wiped tears from her eyes and then again crosses her fingers before Howie speaks..
