This band from the start has been one of the most important groups to come along, saw them at Newport jazz festival in 68 BLEW everyone off stage then fillmore east NY many times, how the hell their not in the RR hall of fame is a crime when they set the bar to reach for, just go back read the liner notes an listen very carefully to This Was one hell of a ride thanks to all that have played, with Ian
i saw and met jethro tull when i was 12....most amazing, funny, talented, and down-to-earth guys. its been 8 years, but man.....best first concert ever. i still have the napkin that martin barre wrote me a poem on.
Saw them on this tour in 1995 at the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach. It wasn't like Tull from the 70's, but they were tight and loud. Each member's part was instrumentally outstanding, but the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. Overall, it was an outstanding show. It did not leave you thinking it was disappointing, as so many concerts from so many bands do.

Bloody brilliant...
great companion piece to ''mouse police...' they should do a farmyard amimal compliation or suite-i'd enjoy it,anyway.
When was this actually performed? Ian's voice is pretty good; almost to his old performances. Best of his recordings I've heard in recent years.
This is from the "Living with the Past" DVD. The concert is from 2001. It's very likely Ian overdubbed the vocals in the studio for this release.
yeeah
Not much new here which is understandable after 20-plus years.
