Greetings, Felipe! Thank you for the tutorial! I am wondering what are your thoughts on Hailo 8L AI Accelerator. Have you ever tried this chip??? I have seen recently saw HATs, which would allow both an NVMe SSD drive and Hailo Accelerator to be attached to Raspberry Pi simultaneously. However, most of tutorials on youtube do not show “real-life” use cases for this AI accelerator chip. I understand that this might be a powerful chip with 13 TOPs by itself. However, I have not seen any real-life use-cases or detailed explanation how to use this AI accelerator.
Appreciate your guidance! I’m trying to pip install ultralytics 3:48 on the RPI 4B but it isn’t successful. It indicated that something went wrong with torch package (a dependency of ultralytics). I’m using Bookworm 12 32-bit OS. Do you have any ideas about this ? Thank you for your help !
Hi! I’m not sure I can help with that specific error, but you might try different versions of ultralytics or Torch. In the video, I’m using a Raspberry Pi 5. Good luck! 🙌
Thank you for your message. I was able to “pip install ultralyrics” with the 64-bit bookworm OS on Pi 4. (seems like the 32-bit version doesn’t support torch)

The Hailo AI accelerator looks very promising based on its specs. If I get the chance to experiment with it extensively, I’ll make a video about it. 🙌
