Jane, you really did "show AND tell" with this video. I enjoyed it and always like seeing your thoughts and process about journaling. It helps and encourages me to find my own process, ways of thinking about trash-ha ha, where to look for freebies, and being a little more loose with my approach.
I’ve lived around Sydney all my life and I still find it a hard, unfriendly place a lot of times, especially when you’re by yourself. It’s a bit clique-y and as an introvert, inner Sydney is exhausting. It’s hard to get around, and everyone is stressed and working too much. I find it hard to go to cafes and just relax because they’re either too busy and cramped or they want to shut and rush you off early. Like @jurrassitol15 said above, I often go to food courts. Or libraries! Sydney is a lot funner when you hang with people you know and know the good spots!
Hi Jane! It’s an ideal way to keep travel journaling while traveling, but it’s so hard because the time is limited, and sometimes I’m exhausted. However, I really want to follow the same way you’ve been journaling like at a cafe, or at a hotel you were staying because the memory you had were absolutely fresh! Thank you for sharing the inspiring video like always! Take good care of yourself, sending lots of love❤from Japan.
I feel so inspired by you. I just stumble upon your videos. I never thought How nice can be to plan everything in Traveler's Notebook. Thank you for such cool ideas.
Hi Jane! I love your journaling. I’m glad I’m not the only one who collects as much as possible to journal with. I love the little bear you bought. So cute!
Depending on the cafe, they usually close early as the office workers don’t usually get coffees in the afternoons…places that stay open longer are usually restaurants…but it is harder to journal there. I find food courts are easier as there are usually bigger tables and more room…if you’re ever back in sydney, there’s a good food court to journal in at Westfield’s sydney - the end that is on the corner of Market and Castlereagh Streets is quieter than other parts and you can stay there as long as you want. There’s also a food court in the basement of Galeries Victoria and there’s a small seating area near the Fitness first/Yayoi/Sushi Hotaru on the 1st floor…and yep the weather here is being really inconsistent so I’m not surprised you got ill…everyone i know is getting sick at the moment!
Glad you are feeling better; it's most important that you take care of you! Fun video - thanks for the catch-up. Great travel journal - I did not do so well with my travels to Austrailia.
Thank you for the video! I always get inspired to journal and do some Art work afterwards 😊. I don’t travel much, well maybe once a year. We did a day trip to Yosemite last month and I journaled there by the River👍. Other than that I journal my day or thoughts I have.

Hello hello! I agree that journaling as your travel is such a different experience but it can also be hectic depending on the environment. Really love your videos and journals! How did you fasten the patch to your TN cover?
I noticed you were using watercolors at the airport. Have you ever had trouble bringing a water color pen on the plane? I would be worried about it getting taken away at security because of the liquid inside.
Shops in Australia close on time and early. Even if there is business. A few shops owners gave us unfriendly look fifteen minutes before they close. Guess we delay their going home. Not sure if it is the case now….didn’t like the attitude.
PS: I am using Traveler's Notebook as my work planner / whatever art journal or scrapbook :p

Thank you! I miss Yosemite! I was there for an elopement shoot and it snowed! Yes you can always journal after or any time you are comfortable with :)
