Going into the final battle with Ultima Weapon, Save the Queen+, and Save the King+ felt awesome. I’m grateful to the people who made guides for obtaining the materials.
I just started up kh3 for the first time. Watched vids to catch up on the story and glad I did. I played kh1 and 2 on release and the waits killed me as it did everyone else that played them from day 1. Grown ass man coming to tears over the intro as any I did when I was a young lad loading into kh2
Didn't farm much for crystal items. I just constantly used Favorite Deputy for the lucky strike ability, along with other items. When I finally unlocked the recipes, I found out I already had all items and then some.
I swear to god, the only reason why they put one of the orichalcum+ in a chest in the final world is so you can't grind ultima out as soon as you first get to the eclipse galaxy.
There wasnt a big difference anyway. The bulk of what happens at the Keyblade graveyard is cinematics. I think the only legit fighting to be done is the massive swarm that allows the rollercoaster attraction, followed by cinematics and a collection sequence... THEN you can obtain it.

The Ultima Weapon is a fucking BEAST! That Keyblade breaks the game a little if you ask me lol I wouldn't say its over powered, but strong as hell! For those of you who don't have the Ultima Weapon yet, I assure you when I say, all the trouble you go through to get it.....IT'S WORTH IT!
Correction: You don't actually need to obtain a high score in the Classic Kingdom Minigames. When he says "Personal Best High Score", he means any high score. You need at least the minimal total of points for it to count, or for some minigames, just play the game once, and it will register.
My top 7 ranked keyblades are: 1. Ultima Weapon - the amazing Shotlock + Formchange are unmatched 2. Classic Tone - the ultimate keyblade for casting spells, but its Formchange holds it back 3. Favorite Deputy - Lucky Strike is irreplaceable 4. Nano Gear - an eclectic Formchange makes this one fun + useful in many situations 5. Ever After - the change to casting is powerful + even more important, fun! 6. Crystal Snow - I just love skating around slicing at enemies + this is the earliest form of Glide you can get 7. Wheel of Fate - Nano Gear outclasses this keyblade, but for the time you have it, it's an amazing Formchange that will make you feel unstoppable
Hey just throwing this out there to people who may still have trouble with the Monster Inc world flan. Summon Simba and literally just start jumping everywhere. Free High score.
Good video. But you can find & synthesize the 58 materials way before battle gates are unlocked. The only 2 materials you need from battlegames are the illusory crystal, & the Evanescence crystal.
Correction the final world gate is different you can actually enter it immediately after coming back from it just turn around and it's there also I got the postcard one at the first visit before I even knew what that's what they were for guess I got lucky
I was replaying the story and my first save I almost deleted my save where I have EVERYTHING literally Ultima weapon.....everything needed for the Ultima weapon.....yea that’s everything
If you feel like not thinking, Ever After and Wheel of Fate are pretty good Keyblades. Especially since Ever After has the Drain Shotlock to give you sustainability.
I consistently find around 54-56 of the 58 materials needed to unlock ultimate by the time I get to control the ship freely in the Caribbean, at which time I can farm 2-4 wellspring crystals from luck island to synthesize the ones I missed which are typically a blazing crystal, a lightning crystal, a frost crystal, and either a pulsing or a lucid crystal (by this time I will already have synthesized a mythril crystal 1-2 worlds prior so I don’t count this one). It’s happened exactly like this every single play through for the last 12 or so play throughs so I am confident I can call this consistent. Quick side note: I DID make it a point to fight every enemy I came across in each play through but did NOT do any grinding for materials outside of asteroid farming for Damascus or flourite etc. just for anyone who might just argue that it was only like this for me because I grinded materials, no I did not
After finishing lvl 1 proud mode Hunny blaster is the most op keyblade aside from ultima weapon i because of it's honey slow from shotlock and finisher
I wish people would say "After you've completed THE FINAL WORLD segment" I've seen many people think you have to beat the game to get the Ultima Weapon

Yeah, but that’s the worst part. I didn’t think I would have to finish the game in order to get the Ultima weapon. I was hoping to get the Ultima weapon and swiftly get through the game by doing immense damage to enemies and bosses
A few things. 1: wouldn’t the Evrr After keyblade be a better second best? While yes it’s max only has 10 magic compared to 13 and 14 and it doesn’t have 3 mp hastes. It comes with Leaf Bracer, allowing for easier healing, but it also gains the Aeroza ability, giving you a chance to use master tier magic for free without meeting the normal requirements. But that’s not all. It’s form change is pretty darned op. The basic attacks of the form change deal MASSIVE burst damage in aoe, meaning it does really well with crowd. But if you do 4 dodges and then basic attack, it’s single target dps will melt even the largest health bar. Seriously. If done properly you can take out half a boss’ health with just a single round of the ranged attack. 2: wouldn’t Nobody Slayer and Heartless Slayer be better? While, yes, their stats aren’t as good, the stats are still solid and they offer better abilities for late game. Most of late game you will be focusing on final bosses and battle gates. Well, most of the organization 13 are Nobodies, meaning Nobody Slayer is more efficient. Meanwhile the Heartless Slayer is super efficient due to the sheer number of Heartless enemies you run into.
But you do have to take into consideration that you don't fight any of the nobodies of org 13 with goofy or Donald And on critical mode you just opened my eyes toward the walking hp regen
When half this video is just ultima weapon, save the queen+ and save the king+. I’d rather run Oathkeeper cause light form and double form is amazing. Speaking of Oathkeeper, where is it and Oblivion? They’re both my favourite keyblades in the game with light and dark form and double form and they’re easier to get too

johnnyscifi Having close to 20 keyblades with MOSTLY different transformations... would be tedious. The amount of keyblades in this game is minuscule compared to the REAL problems KH3 faces.

There have been Ultima weapons in every kingdom hearts game and they are always overpowered I'm not a big final fantasy fan but I'm pretty sure Ultima weapons are a staple in their games I only know this cause I played final fantasy x
Why arent you playing on critical mode? You can get 1 and 2 shot in that mode from the start. Proud is pretty boring because there isnt much danger in most fights. Also, this video is terribly outdated. You dont even need Ultima Weapon when having either Oblivion or Oathkeeper are more or less better.

I just realized something you need "7" orichalcum to get the ultima key Wich has stats of "13" magic and "13" strength

KH2 went from 13 to 7 orichalcum after using a serenity (I think) crystal to half the material values
You only need 80 lucky emblems for Orichalcum+. 90 emblems gets you the Micky Clasp
And the Proof of Promises, which gives you the Oathkeeper

Nah, used almost solely Ever After. It's got an op easy near-screen wipe.

I’m pretty sure Donald’s heartless maul + is better than save the queen because of MP thrift but that’s just me

If I am low on health in critical and waiting for my mp to regen for cure I could get my ever after keyblade and walk and have my ho get refilled

yes... but time wise it was pretty tedious. it took me about 80 hrs to get plat. but compared to kh 1 and 2 it's way easier
