I’m from Leeds and love watching the growing skyline of Manchester! I think the old and new architecture compliment each other. It’s becoming a beautiful city with amazing skyline.
Beautiful and moving scenes that show beyond doubt which city is the second city. Other provincial cities can only watch in awe at the unstoppable machine that is Manchester ❤
Have you been reading the news latterly, doesn't sound like it as it has been plastered all over You Tubs channels and UK and Foreign TV Channels that the UK's Second and Second largest City has gone bankrupt, UH that is about Birmingham mate the official UK Second Largest City with over 1.5 million Citizens and is also the largest City Council in western Europe, so how does the City of Manchester grow mate it only has a population of 580,000 and is hemmed in by other Towns in Greater Manchester area, and do not get confused between Greater Manchester which is NOT a City and the City of Manchester 👍
I think you need to do some reserch on your comments about second City Status, it has nothing to do with the height of Buildings or football teams, it is all to do with the size of the population of the said City and the area of the City. The City of Manchester is according to UK government sources only the 6th largest City in the UK due to it's overall population size of just 580,000 citizens living in the City of Manchester and it's area of only 58 sq miles, the official second largest City in the UK as listed by the media and UK Government statistics is the City of Birmingham with a population of upto 1.5 million citizens and an area of 150sq miles and the largest City Council in Europe, so no the City of Manchester is not the second City and do not bring Greater Manchester into this as it is just a Metropolitan County Council not a City and if you Google " is Greater Manchester a City" the answer you would see is a resounding NO
Manchester is nearly as spectacular as your productions - brilliant visuals, fitting music and just the right amount of sound effects popped in for maximum atmosphere.
I love watching videos that have been edited with care and attention. Don't just send your drone up for 5 minutes and stick it on RUclips! This is really watchable as always.. the colours pop! Great video 😊
The Beetham Tower used to be by far the tallest building in Manchester - Today there is so many new skyscrapers built on the First street that the Hilton is completly in a shadow
@@ARW.7London is riddled with a dated class system. Manchester is progressive and all inclusive. Nobody gives a damn in Manchester where you are from or what your parents do. That’s why I like it. People in London are obsessed with their postcode.
Thank you so much, one of, if not, your best yet! Lush doesn't fairly subscribe it. Combined with the music you chose, it's symphonic. The new metropolis emerging is remarkable as the vestiges of it's industrial past are swept away by glossy new signposts of service industry in a renaissance as big perhaps as the original industrial revolution of the 1700's and 1800's. Not all of it's best buildings survived but two, neighbours have, that are exemplified in your film, the Refuge Assurance (Kimpton Hotel) and the St. James's building, both on Oxford Street. It looks like the Chandos Building (?) has gone, with a green crane in attendance, behind the Bull's Head pub near Picc. Station to be replaced by a student tower. Many more projects are at the starting gate. Mcr used to be a city with universities. It is transformed into a university city, particularly on the South Side. They are it's life-blood. Over half of the graduates after graduating find employment close by and are particularly attractive to employers, businesses and residential developers. Your purview shows how the development is girdle-kept by the Mancunian Way and the railway, which increasingly is beginning to look like a toy. One-fifth of the cities GVA comes from the Oxford Rd. Standard 95% of the times. D-Log very rarely, mostly on sunset or sunrise when dealing with lot of highlights. Standard is so good on Mavic 3 if all you doing it publishing it on the internet.
Impressive to see how much construction there is going on and how big these buildings are. In terms of architecture, many of these highrises have an extremely poor design. Anyhow, I thing the footage looks great though.
@@paulwild3676 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The 'Second City' in the UK 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've been there many times. It's a dump. BTW No developer would want to invest in a bankrupt city would they?

Great video and that's Manchester? It's certainly changed since when i passed through there on the megabus as a teenager in the late 1990s! 😮
Enormously. I ben living in Manchester since 1998 and the changes are astonishing.
Such lovely and vibrant city 😍 ❤️ 💙 💕 💖
Lovely video and well presented 😊
Only city in the UK with a north American vibe.
Erm… have you not seen Canary Wharf in London?
@@ARW.7 By the way many people don't know that the are many skycrippers in London, coz many yutubers always show european buildings.

It sure looks as if Manchester has been devastated by Brexit!
Ironically all the places doing well in Britain voted to remain, including Manchester.
Birmingham voted to leave, the only big city to vote leave. Poorly educated, no culture and bankrupt.
