Thank you! Ill see you in HELEN for sure!!
beautiful mk3 variant ❤❤
Thank you so much. More to come soon!
Remind me of my mark 3 that I had back in the early 2000s wasn't an estate though just a GTI in the same colour and it's cool that we even have the same name
MK3s are fun for sure. I had a GTI for a while. Always prefer the pre-2k VWs.
@@piasprojects oh for sure but saying that the 1.8l 20 valve turbo engine was a great little engine had one of those in a mk 4 GTi and a Skoda Octavia Estate
We need more content please
Yes I am working on some stuff. Hope to have something out in the next day.
What the story of the mk1 , outside?
I picked it up about 18months ago and havent done anything with it. The plan is to get it up and running this summer, maybe a local cruiser. Eventually a 1.9 TDI swap. Stay tuned it will be rolling soon! Thanks for asking about it.
@piasprojects
Will you make a video on that also , later on ?
Most definitely.

My god...the dirty, dirty things I would do for a long roof mk3.
Talk to Nick at Open Air Imports.
@@piasprojects I'm in Australia mate. I don't think Nick wants to do that much work 😂
VW never brought the mk3 wagon here, which is a damn shame. I've had a mk3 GL, a mk3 vr6, a v5 Bora and I've currently got a Bora vr6 AWD manual. It's great. Fast, handling, comfort....but the mk3 golf's just have my heart.
Oh fair enough.
Lots of cool cars for sure though. I want a v5!
@@piasprojects the AQN/AZX 20 valve VR5 is a fantastic engine, although frowned upon by many (VR6 owners). It has a great torque curve and a very unique sound (almost V10 like). Rated at 170hp factory they perform well for what they are. Cams and a tune easily get you 200hp. Add some boost and you got even more fun, but, Being 10.7:1 compression, good fuel and a good tune is imperative...as is a MLS head gasket and decent studs.
Being lighter and smaller than the VR6 the are great swaps for mk1,2,3 bodies.....and that's what I would love to do! Mk3 CL 2 door, stripped out interior, VR5 5 speed, 268° cams, high comp pistons and an exhaust. Fun, nimble, light, revvy.
Cheers brother 🤙
