Players averaging 7 steals a game, but I can’t average five 3s a game. Even though someone averaging five 3s is more realistic than someone averaging 7 steals…this game is a joke ‼️
To think it used to be rare to see a player average 5 3pt attempts.... Now it's unrealistic if you aren't making a minimum of 5 😂 But yeah, steals are very easy to get on this game...that being said...the amount of passes that I've seen get thrown full court to a marked man only to be intercepted and the amount of times I've seen a person dribble the ball directly into a defender is also a lot higher than I see in the professional game. Low basketball iq is a thing. And I think it galvanises steal stats.
Steals aren't the problem because I can't get a steal being in the perfect position I keep getting 25 steal animations with a 94 even with interceptor max +1 on legend the ball just goes through my player.

Community is too divided to actually have a real conversation about the game. Everyone is so focused on their own playstyle that the don’t consider anyone else’s perspective. We need a foundation and slowly refine it or the community NEEDS to be honest with itself and have 2k keep the modes separate. Any park, stage, or 3v3 modes will have more Arcade gameplay focusing on limiting meters or feedback on higher difficulty areas. Likewise 5v5 modes will be more simulation with more freedom in the rec but more difficulty (Locked High-Risk) in the ProAm.

idk City back in the day 2k10, 2k11 and 2k12 all had cheaters in the crew mode. i remember vividly 9 foot tall players and people who would just max out every attribute with a USB stick. one of the reason 2k13 introduced VC was to combat cheaters.

I'd like to see a generic BB game focused on gameplay, where they maybe only had likeness licenses for the abilities and maybe just have a park and REC type game modes only, just good gameplay and graphics is all I need. CFB is overrated because Madden has been lackluster since the NCAA 14 that's 10 years with the same bs EA put out year after year so when CFB dropped its going to get over hyped because EA still dropped the ball with it as well. It was arcady in the beginning but when players complained about realistic pursuit EA made it Madden like then it really got stale. Only reason ppl picked it back up is because the actual CFB playoffs and 2k and CoD being so trash.

Do I want them to do something about cheaters it would be nice but at the end of the day we gotta control what we can control and let the rest of that stuff go. I keep up with the treating devices and how they work just because I think it’s interesting but the hassle to use them is way too much for me to want to deal with.

The NFL and NBA sell licensing rights and that is the problem because it only allowed one game. Both games would be nice if their licensing wasn't treated as a single owner gold as it is.
Other companies would have to risk going up against an established company which will hurt sales a lot for a couple years. The exclusivity is in the risk of investment.
