Man my ocd is kicking into high gear when I watch your videos 😮😂😂😂 I'd love to see the place cleaned up, tools organized, the junk cars and parts scrapped so you have room to work and find tools... idk how you do it man lol but I still love watching your videos... for years now...
security lug nut removal tip. take a cheap Chinesium 12 point socket and hammer it over the security lug nut! The impact will take it off effortlessly!
Hey Mike... we have Pinky, (the other '41 3 window coupe) we got going a bit on it last year and this year we'll have it done. I cant wait to see what you're gonna do with the one you have now. we should talk buddy and maybe do some type of head to head or collaboration type work together on these cars. they are ultra rare and it would be awesome for the community to see 2 of them getting done in two different styles built at opposite ends of the country. a Canadian luxury liner build extravaganza!!!
I just literally did this same frame swap...bought a 70 skylark rag top...and pulled the frame for my chevelle....then took my hardtop frame and put it back under the skylark....de ja vu....encountered pretty much the same issues...lol.
LOL, when you bought back the Luxury Liner I thought WTH is he thinking? Now must admit its received a lot of "camera time" lately and its starting to grow on me, big time. Hope she gets restored the bodylines and styling make it a pretty special car and as noted its 83 frickin years old. 😊
You can drive a smaller socket on those lug nuts that's on that Buick and get them all just drive it on there with the hammer then you can take it right off
I realize the videos are not necessarily released in the order of filming BUT it seems like the boys jump all over the place? LOL all in all though Mike is a fortunate guy being more or less retired and doing what he loves to do! Keep the projects coming Mike ..... 😂😂
Been doing what you guys are for many years as a side hustle. Been in a multi franchise Collision center since 1989 as a start to finish collision tech. ( guys like me have basically vanished from the face of the earth 🌎 got into it for the muscle car love , big block love, rock crusher love and so on. Don’t add the high Trama Drama- no need to bicker for views- you’re gonna get them regardless from muscle car loving, living, breathing people’s out in the great big world 🌎 regardless!!!!! Respect 👍👍👍. Olds rocket 🚀 forever……🫡🫡✌️
Hi Mike, That car could've been hit in the past which would explain why certain spots on the frame were damaged by a tow truck. Possibly and more likely damage done by a body man straightening the frame. Enjoy taking it apart. Take care.
Could you put up some fencing to the left of the brown bldg on the empty lot and you could put some stuff there and get it out of your way around all the doors
Weld a nut on it and back that nut off or small chisel and a hammer and hook into the side of the nut and drive it loose till you can use a pair of vise grips.
Why not buy a frame for the Chevelle and have it strong enough for a big block? I have a 454 that I built that could go in it. I drove the 48 contiguous states and dragged someone from each of the 50 states with the engine. It's about 650 hp to the wheels.
For the stuck lug nut. Hammer on a socket that's slightly to small then it will come off. Might be a bitch to get out of your socket but it will be off the car.
Netflix seems to only buy a couple seasons of a show, annoyingly. I believe Mike said they didn't want it and so it got licenced to the History Channel.
Netflix only has the first two seasons and doesn't want to renew the rebroadcast license rights from the History Channel here in Canada where the show originally comes from. We have all 4 seasons here in Canada on the History Channel and we're waiting for season 5 later this fall on the History Channel here in Canada with new episodes.
How dare you spew the word sacrilege from that smokers voice about destroying a Buick convertible for a Chevelle convertible. Bad boy, bad bad bad boy! P.S. If i lived closer and you fed or make a trade with me while i was there i would put some rhyme and reason to that mess you call a shop.
You need a garage rehab. Time is money. You guys spend more time looking for parts and tools than working on cars. Focus on something and finish it. Then move to the next. You're no spring chickens guys.
MIC u just have to talk dirty to it it qell come pff i cant wait to see thwt project in action akd thwt paint job what color u pick was it orange is thwt rhe one u r waiting for the inteearrror for ?
Love your videos, but really have to clean up shop, ur always wasting time to look for something. Make a video of cleaning up, im sure you will have views watching it happen
I wouldn't feel to bad for ole Blair, it's not like he is donating his time people, Mike pays him. In reality Blair is left alone to do his thing and work on some pretty cool cars. Stuff he very clearly loves to do. Looks like a pretty sweet spot for a metal and paint guy to work later on his career?

Wouldn't we all love to see the shop organised 😂 I'd literally fly over there to help Mike
OCD and OH&S..... Get 'er done Mike.
@@jt317 AGREED! Love to ship shape the shop for MIKE.
Too lazy 😆
I like how he throws everything wherever. But he can't stand any oil or paint spilled on his floor.

(Eyes you with suspicion and slides pile of new rims further away)
You'd think they would know that trick I knew that trick 30 years ago😅
I like the doorway you guys walk threw that doesn’t need to be there, it is a little messy, just bring the bobcat in on a Saturday
Love your show on netflix wish more was coming until then this is great and love it
I would love to see that luxury liner restored!!!! So totally awesome!!!
Watching this, as i watch the hit to pass episode on netflix... again! Great show.
Have you watched the next two seasons that Netflix never showed? LOL
Drive down Washington and get yourself an Art Morrison chassis for the Buick/ Chevelle build . Keep the videos coming !
Can hardly wait to see both restored!!
Hi Mike I have been watching your shows for years ...love all your cars

THANKS 4 VIDEO!
Blair, prefect shirt!!
Hey from Newfoundland
Are there going to be more videos of you finishing the roadrunner love that car
You need to put on a double flexible ratchet extension Mike! 😮 😊
That’s awesome 😎
If that drivetrain runs, I'd save it for the 32 buick.
Thats an excellent idea!
Love from woody in westlock 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
You definitely will get the cars done

Great as ever hi from isle of wight England
Dee keep up the good work man!! Still waiting for that new Twisted Sister album to drop....🤘🤘
Hi from London 😊
If you guys would cleanup the shop and yard you’d literally get 3x more done. Most of your videos are looking for lost parts and tools
No kidding, it’s crazy
Im sure you dont know how much time that would take
But Mike would love for you guys to help them cleanup for free 👌👌
They don’t even answer emails, wrote to them interested in a coronet and no reply.
Move up north and do it on ur own dime 😂
@@mysterycomment1553 they replied during live chats
I had 11 put of 12 body mounts break when taking my Chevelle off frame … what a PITA !!
The 1940. Is georgious 👍😎👍
Hey Mike you should invest in Locking Nut keys!!!
You can drive a smaller socket on those lug nuts that's on that Buick and get them all just drive it on there with the hammer then you can take it right off

I’m proud of Michael and the team for hiring a woman. When I was first out of high school I got told that I would be to distracting for the body shop
That luxury liner is kinda sweet. Some of those cars do need scrapping, though 😂
Hi Mike, That car could've been hit in the past which would explain why certain spots on the frame were damaged by a tow truck. Possibly and more likely damage done by a body man straightening the frame. Enjoy taking it apart. Take care.
Hogback!
I'd come from Australia just to help clean up😳😁✌️
go mike go you got this hoo hoo you,er a beast hahaha
And only the good die young! You know, no rest for the wicked comment. By the way, digging the music!
Snap-on pipe wrenches??? Blair kills me.
Hey rust bros Lyle from Saskatoon sk in the building
Could you put up some fencing to the left of the brown bldg on the empty lot and you could put some stuff there and get it out of your way around all the doors
You should let Blair chop the liner. big block & blower 🤩
Why those videos are not in order? Once I am watching about road runner painting and the next day its without paint on new video? 😅
Branco pérolas ficaria muito bonito e original color
I put a hard top frame in my 69 Chevelle rag … obviously it needed to be boxed and stiffened
you guys build real cars the way there supposed to look like!!!! HIGH FROM GATE CITY VIRGINIA
i will work for free under Blair, as an intern. i'm serious holler back maan
Your tire socket problem, needed a plumber's adjustable wrench. 😮
Fabricators think alike I have a shirt I like too says I understand I just don't care lol WTG Majic man😂
Smarter not harder, dude, weld a nut on the locking nut and easily back it out
Yo yo
Well... at least you didn't have to cut the lug nut and the stud off.
Damm that's a sweetheart of a car don't change anything but hemi that bad bitch
Mike i was grinding my teeth watching u remove that body bolt lol 😆 😂
Weld a nut on it and back that nut off or small chisel and a hammer and hook into the side of the nut and drive it loose till you can use a pair of vise grips.
You need a 4 " pipe wrench I use mind lots I have two in my box
Smash a bigger socket over the top job done
Where's all the dusters?

Definitely need help to clean up shop
maybe buy or build a rotisserie?
love the show guys , I don't like however, when the music is the loudest part of the audio track! please lower the level.
its not bad but its too loud
For the stuck lug nut. Hammer on a socket that's slightly to small then it will come off. Might be a bitch to get out of your socket but it will be off the car.
Gas axe was closer
