Tanya's producer at the time, Billy Sherrill heard Bette sing it on the Tonight Show, and decided that would be Tanya's 1st song, recorded in 1972. Then Helen Reddy recorded it in 1973. The song was a Hit for both Tanya and Helen in their own genre. Both versions are great!
