I moved from New York City in 1966 too 225 Helen St., right across the street from the shot tower Move to Florida in 1973. Never went back talking about memories.
I live right across the street an have gotten in multiple times an used to go to the roof of the tower before the city sealed it up, if you ever want someone to come with you I can go
I would not go inside that building. It has been the scene of many fires over the last seven or eight years of which two of them have been major and have completely destroyed Floors.

the 3 big building floors are in ok shape. flew my Drone around inside to check the floors. I'm going back with people that know the place well.
Those old buildings can be turned into apt , that's what they've done to the old mills here
